I tend to get sick and then be sick for a while cause I'm against medicine. I usually let my body fight it for a long while then finally give up and just hammer it with medicine when I get too sick of being sick all the time.

That's also my way of dealing with the life... I didn't get any sickness or flu/cold since over 8 years, in which I don't remember any single day I had medicine.

As you get more medicine your body becomes more fragile.... God damn, I am one very healthy mothafucka...

Last time that I was seriously ill (had pneumonia, diagnosed by an X-ray in the hospital), was in 2000. I know why I got it - I was stressed out a lot from my personal problems, it was the winter and I wasn't dressing properly at all, I also didn't get good sleep or good diet very much... But I think my main cause for getting it was not dressing properly and at the same time walking long distances outside in the cold weather. And the fact that I was beating myself down mentally.

I get sick (with what I consider minor illnesses that I do get antibiotic prescriptions for from the doctor though) maybe once a year... not so bad this year, although I had some form of a cold or something later in the spring, but I only stayed home and worked from home for a couple of days and bought some cough syrup, and then my boyfriend brought me Neo-citran which was also good. But I did have an ear-infection on both ears sometime in the early summer (if I remember correctly), and had to take ear-drops for it. And four-years ago I had another undetected ear-infection on my right ear, which resulted in a ruptured ear drumb. That's how I found out, it started to feel very painful, and when I went to the walk-in clinic, the doctor told me. I rather dislike ear infections. I hope I'm not gonna be deaf because of it sooner than I should be...

I agree with Andy and Geroin, if you wash your hands frequently and try to live a healthy lifestyle and have a generally healthy immune system, then you should not be get sick very often.
