just made an awesome melt wrap.

took a wrap, spread mayo and mustard on it, then i fried like 10 pieces of bacon, an egg, some strips of chicken breast/steak, then some melted cheese, with chopped up tomatoes

it was so fucking good

I love bacon, so that sounds so good.

i love Erbs & Gerbs -- Tappy with no tomato ftw.

and regarding Panera, i agree with whoever said it was the Starbucks of sandwich places. their food is good but way overpriced for what you're actually getting. i just feel like i'm getting ripped off if i pay more than $4-$5 for a sandwich... unless it's got some baller ingredients on it, and Panera is not that baller.

i have decided that it is in my best interests to procure a tasty meal consisting of quality ingredients delicately placed between two slices of fresh bread before i traverse to the great city of Chicago on this fine October evening.

in other words... OMNOMNOMNOM.

There's a great Cuban restaurant in my town, they make an awesome sandwich, Swiss, pork(which is marinated for like 10 hours...tender), and turkey, on this bread which I can just call 'un-risen' (it's kinda crunchy).

It's the cornerstone of my Lunchtime at Work food pyramid.

My favorite sandwich is comprised of the following components:

-Ciabatta Baguette
-Rosemary-baked lean Ham
-Italian Prosciutto
-Mayonnaise
-Emmental Swiss Cheese

Extra delicious after spending a couple of minutes in the oven

hell yea. had one today. the already made cuban ones are very decent for $3.99.

there's actually a brand new 3 story glass publix right across the street from my work and apt. i love it, i can walk there if i want.

Publix subs FTW. I love asking for variations of Boars Head stuff that isn't pre-sliced (like the Salsalito or Maple-Honey Turkey), and the deli ladies try to give me the guilt trip and say "Well I have to go slice it...." and I just say, "no problem, I'll wait." LOL.

Other than those, I gotta go back to my Portugese roots and say there's nothing better than a good churico sandwich (portugese sausage, pronounced "shur-eece")... both sides of my family are from Fall River, MA where all the Portugese people live and one of the few places to get the authentic stuff. Ignore that "Gaspars" shit they sell in the grocery store.
