-- beer: cans vs bottles

I have a bottle of this:
...waiting for me when I get home from work tonight/tomorrow morning, and I think I might pick up a bottle of Chimay for the weekend.
I feel like splurging on dank beer.
Le Chouffe is so bomb. it was cheap when i bought it in Amsterdam too.
Here its a bit expensive. More than Delerium or similar to those.

bottles for sure.
but partying in the desert, cans are just more fun. plus they don't saw into your thumb and finger taint the way opening 30 bottles of twist off in an epic day.
grolsh is awesome.
american microbrew is insanely good. (it took time as, unlike in canada, homebrew has only been legal for 30yrs now)

cans or caguamas
It's funny, I have like four Delerium Tremens coasters sitting in front of me right now, but have never had the stuff.

| Originally posted by elFreak I never said it was shit. America is the best in mass production(technique and market exposure not taste). Budweiser for instance is one of the few beers in the world that will taste exactly the same no matter where it was brewed. They have it to a science (it still sucks.) Most mass produced beer is shit, hence i believe it is the reason the rest of the world seems to have this opinion. make sense? |
I have a soft spot for Erdinger and Kronenberg ...draught only.
because they are a lot better than the oilers and flames.

I really don't see myself getting a whole keg. Have you ever been to the SAQ on Parc and Jean Talon? Their selection is quite diverse and actually nothing like that in grocery stores. After visiting a store in Melbourne (AUS) in August that had over 200 kinds of beer, however, I am no longer satisfied.
move to australia then.

I also know about a lot of the great beers that are made in Europe and elsewhere. But the U.S. has so many beers that you would never even hope to hear about, beers that are only available in the state in which they are brewed. And trust me there are a lot of them, and they're very, very good. I'm not talking Budweiser or Coors Light bullshit. I'm talking straight up some of the most innovative micro brewing in the world. |
Bottles and Cans and just clap your hands, and just clap your hands.

some of the bestest beer evar, but then again its a bit better at the brewery on draught. Gordon and Ten Fidy are good, but a bit too expensive for four cans in the store|
Whatever it is.. beer tastes SOOOOO much better on tap than any can or bottle.
Especially guinness..on tap, i think its the best beer on earth, in can, that stupid widget just destroys the name.
