Is there such a thing as white music? I thought most forms of music were created by blacks then appropriated by whites.

the SOS show in nyc was only alright then? i was really thinking about going but didn't have the energy after that epic week

yeah desyn masiello is the man ! so many of my friends at school got into electronic dance tunes because of his 2005 WMC essential mix set

there really isn't enough funk played out there these days, and even new quality tunes are rather rare, but hey someone pick up the slack and make some moves! i would try myself but at the moment work is busy as hell and will be for the next 9 months soooooo

fuck you AIG! and your dumb ass inhouse risk modeling

the July zip file seemed to be corrupt for me, but the September one worked just fine. let me know which one you're having problems with and i'll reupload somewhere else for you.

September is the one I can't open, I got July. SoooO gooood. I'm glad you called him out. Cute to boot, too.

I've been on this neo soul kick lately always occurs in even numbered years & when its cold out. It's been all about Erykah Badu like you wouldn't believe, god damn. Anyone think an "I Want You" remix = fellatio on the dancefloor?

first track from that set (Simi & Marotta's '4 Da Undergroudn') is an awesome tune, really groovy. i remember how that tune used to be an ID for 3 or 4 years, after Deep Dish played it first in their (legendary & epic) EM from Creamfields 2004. when the tune finally got (digitally) released, my hunt was over . still love hearing that tune in contemporary sets, and its nice to see Desyn used to play it 'even' if it was 2007

You speak the truth, but does that count as good music? I was thinking more along the lines of popular music like dance, rock, jazz, blues.

Doooooooooo ittttttttt... it needs a remix badly. Alot of it on the tube was cut. The beginning is actually a little over 3 min of just her grunting & huffing "I want you" to that simple beat.

Thanks lucid! I appreciate it, getting it now.

you know... my next mix was gonna be all chill/downtempo/deep house, and now that i'm Beatporting, i'm tempted to do something more uptempo and epic.

damnit.

Siiiick! Looking forward to the mix!!!

I just got this tune yesterday and I'm obsessively listening to it since,, by Monoman - Feeling Crazy (Hector Moralez Remix) look it up. I'm pretty you'd like it

Posted by Axer on Nov-08-2008 03:21:

Hate to say this, but Toronto is lacking funk DJs. Everyone's trying to make a name with links and shit. Jamming up the scene like some virus. I kinda cut down on spending on parties, since I've got all my tunes where I need. Unfortunately, I had to pack up my tables yesterday, but I released a my new track to give back to the community.

Keep it real bitches!
