I've never been, and I have several friends who swear by it and tell me it's not that sketch, it's just a normal place and just mind your own business, but I've always had an instinctively bad feeling about this place. LOL that's all I've got to support my opinion.

Well I think you need to make a visit to the zone before you poke your head in this thread again

I try to live up to this saying.

Don't knock anything until you've tried it once. (Unless it's something absolutely stupid)

lol, I think it's fully justified that I don't want something in my neighborhood because I happen to not like it.

Guys, if you lived in the area and did not go to the zone like you do, you'd probably feel the same way.
There's absolutely no benefit to having the zone in your neighborhood unless you go there. That corner is sketch enough as it is.

I have been to the zone and I do think it is worse than other clubs in the city as far as drug use goes.

Off the top of my head, I can think of one legal clubs and 3 illegal afterhours (boozecans) that are much worse... and the cops know about the booze cans.

I don't like my neighbour so does that mean I should make him move out?

Maybe when you move to the neighborhood we could take a stroll through there together and see what your thoughts are. Until then....keep on with your hypothetical arguments, and I will keep talking about what actually happens there, cool?

oh please... you need to start wearing your glasses when you leave the house. Anyone with functioning eyes can plainly see that the sketch on that corner comes from the crack head natives and other assorted homeless crack heads... not from the people at the comfort zone.

If you lived there for so many years you'd also know that there's a centre for addiction and mental health nearby as well... oh.. and lets not forget the scott mission right next door.

If you'd ever been to the zone, you'd know that it's 80% young professionals. I fail to see how that's ruining that neighborhood more then the other things i mentioned.

It's justified to destroy someone's business because you don't like it?

Okay, I know I have said I would never goto this place and swore I would not step a foot inside. I guess it was because I was planning to end my night with Deko-ze in the drink but that did not happen??????? I park in the mental health underground parking (you know in case I had to permanently move there after CZ) ... I jug a redline and I am wide awake. I pay cover check my sweater then finally step in this darn place ... as soon as I move closer into the darkness I get these strange vibes. The emotions i was going through changed from scared to nervous -- tense then calm ... then very relaxed and happy!(that was around the time Deko-ze was just hitting the decks WOW,, I have never heard anything like this from deko-ze) I kept on thinking in my head this place will make me do bad things

jchung/kotsy... u guys got stamina !!! how on earth can u do guv all night then zone all morning-afternoon???

I would say the best place to dance is in the front of the booth.. I love all the different sorts of places to chill and sit down. Adjusting your eyes coming in and out of the patio hurt !! next time shades are a must

Can someone PLEASE tell me why is sounds soo good in there??? I mean it must be the insulation and the size of the room or the speakers not being too loud (Bass is perfect imo) ...I dunno which sounded better dubfire's grindhouse or D-Unity's Shake it.

I hear thursday nights are good at CZ but I will not miss another long weekend event at CZ!!

Thanks to everyone who made my CZ experience a great one !

And people do not leave Burger King fucked up on french fries and act erratically on the street outside.

no but people suffer serious health problems from burger king look at how burger king is "benefiting" society

* This Burger King meal has around 1800 calories. That is almost all of the calories you need for a whole day, which for most people is around 2000 calories.
* The amount of sodium in this fast food meal is all that you need for a whole day as well.
* There is a lot of fat, including over eight grams of unhealthy trans fat.

At CZ if one does drugs its unhealthy, if they do too much they will suffer serious health problems just like with Burger King. So in our law system if you don't like Burger King you simply don't eat it, same with CZ if you do not like it don't go simple as that. Your helping CZ by complaining, making CZ more popular. What you can do to help shut down CZ is by not going at all.

absolutely stupid is something like, jumping off a bridge without a bungee cord

or trying to butthax 90yr old grandma

get the idea?

I'm not making anyone do anything.
All I said was that I wouldn't lose sleep if it closed. I also wouldn't lose sleep if the yappy dogs across the street didn't wake up one day. Nobody should really care about either since I'm just expressing my opinion about both on a message board.

Sometimes personal opinions are best kept personal....especially when you know or ought to know that they are going to get a reaction that forces you to defend yourself.

Yeah, I don't really subscribe to that theory.
