that has nothing to do with pirated stuff. they don't allow you to sell stuff you have bought but don't use anymore.

I was just going through my loop folder and found one that sounded similar to Tiesto's "Carpe Noctum"

I'm pretty sure they are identical (VMH Minimal Loops 011.wav if you have the Vengeance Minimal House CD); I want to credit Vengeance with creating it, but I don't know which came first.

Do the Thomas Penton CD's have single hit drum samples? It looks like Vol. 1 & 3 might, but is Vol. 2 just effects and loops? Can someone that has these CD's verify for me?

Thanks,
Sam

the thomas penton pack has tons of single hit drums and a few quality produced loops that round out a "plain" sounding track pretty nicely imo

i love the thomas penton stuff, haven't messed with the vengeance series at all though. everything from realistic "organic sounds" to your typical electronic stuff is there. imo it's all you need for percussion

This is a very interesting thread. Dannib you must have some amazing audio memory to be able to remember what track said samples came from. Its clear those samples were ripped and I myself have heard samples in the Vengeance CDs that I know I've heard before but as for remembering what track or tracks is another thing. One thing though that I have found is that there is a certain percussion loop on VEH1 or 2 I can't remember I could look it up, but I have heard it now in probably 5 or 6 tracks. Its very distinct and everytime I hear it I'm like there it is again.

No, its actually quite simple, the sounds are very distinct in comparison to a lot of other samples out there, and its fairly easy to just isolate parts in a track such as the percussion when you are listening.
