Most places are only too happy to give you a take-out package even if you intend to eat in. Less work for them.

If there was ever a reason to release a cage full of mice into an eaterie & then call the health inspector, repeating it week after week until they close, that might just be it.

the thing was that since they didn't want us on the patio, we just suggest to eat inside away from the stupid VIPs but they pretty much physically threw us out.

OK, I might make it out to this... I am driving into Toronto to train Nestle at Yonge and Sheppard, and it depends on what time I'm done.

If I show up in a suit, no one laugh please.

Any other day than Friday & I'm in one too.

Well, then in the interest of maximizing the experience shortening of my life through food, as well as not wasting people's time on Friday, I shall investigate this thoroughly.

After all, if something worth doing, it's worth right.

Or, you could just do it later, wait until the essays are handed back, & then run to the prof with a stunned look on your face saying "where's mine?!?!??!"

Then, they'll check their office, & tell you they can't find it, so you email them the essay & all is solved.

Don't forget, you're paying these people. Don't take any guff from these swine.

lol

Is this happening?

Posted by The Ear on Nov-20-2008 19:45:

Yep.

It's open!!!

Just checked it out at 1:30 & there was a line-up OUTSIDE to get in the place... turns out that was the ordering line, so not too bad inside. Limited seating, but should be enough to cover the attendees provided I can get there early enough to cover a table or 2.

Thanks to a short notice meeting that I need to attend in Woodbrige, I should be getting there close to 12. So AJ, looks like you won't be the only one in a suit.

Lookin forward to this immensely!

Posted by Abercrombie on Nov-20-2008 20:27:

My meeting in North York ends at 11:45, so I can get there at 12:45, if that's not too late?

Posted by The Ear on Nov-20-2008 20:28:

I'm guessing that we'll probably get orders in around 12:15-12:30ish so you should be right on time.

Posted by DigiNut on Nov-21-2008 00:55:

Expect me at 12:30.

Funny that you're going to be all the way up in Woodbridge beforehand - that's where I'm heading down from.

Posted by The Ear on Nov-21-2008 04:51:

Client meetings... gotta love 'em.

That's shitty.

Posted by DigiNut on Nov-21-2008 13:00:

Why would you post that in a thread about food?

Giddy up! I can taste those curds already.

Posted by English Rachel on Nov-21-2008 16:31:

So I will leave the office at 12.15 to walk over, k?

Posted by English Rachel on Nov-21-2008 19:06:

Ugh, I only managed a quarter of it and I feel like I ate a shoe.

Posted by Frenchie on Nov-21-2008 19:22:

How much was the average poutine?

Posted by English Rachel on Nov-21-2008 19:24:

5.95

Posted by Frenchie on Nov-21-2008 19:29:

Oh wow! Nice, thanks. How was the cheese? Did it squeak when you chewed it? I'm from the Eastern Townships so I know the quality that this cheese should be and I'm hoping it didn't disappoint.

Posted by Yohan on Nov-21-2008 19:32:

all this poutine talk is making my lunch taste like it's dog food

gah... food addiction... so terrible of a fate
