depending on your use of a phone.. smart phones can definitely be handy.
but the basic cellie is good and reliable..
i like blackberry style phones.. currently have a samsung blackjack, but its hard to navigate online, so looking for something new.
the data charges from some are $$.. guess it depends really what you are using it for..
check sig for some of the top accessories around.
Anybody have any info on HTC Fuze?

any word on the Storm just yet? Still debating on that or the Pearl 8130.
I got the Touch Pro with Sprint. It was pushed back and back ordered at first so I got the Diamond initially , but my heart was always with the Touch Pro. I ended up exchanging it for the Touch Pro. Switching from a MotoQ i can attest to the differences in the OS. The only issue I have with it is that for the life of me I can't get it to work with my LEAP network on campus. It won't accept the certificate or authenticate so I'm stuck without WiFi on campus.
Only other issue is that I have a MBP so there is no native software to sync with. I have used both Missing Sync and Syncmate and I think Syncmate is more functional, although a bit newer (read: has bugs/problems still).

I absolutely refuse to get a smartphone.

I think it's so unnecessary to have a work phone as well as a personal phone. (Unless your work consists of you being able to be contacted 24/7) You work for 8 hours, you shut off your computer or shut down the cash register and away you go.
And I agree with the whole if I have to be checking my email on the train and can't wait until I get home or to work life is a little too controlled. I leave my house so I don't have to be around the intertubes every second, some people don't know how to let go.
heh, i kind of felt the same way when i had the Blackberry for a day. as convenient as i thought it might be to be able to check e-mail whenever i wanted, i realized very quickly that it wasn't necessarily such a good thing.
I don't even have my email setup on mine. I don't have any need for it. I can check it later when I get home or I can check it via the web from my phone. I rarely ever check my mail on my phone.
buy a Vertu, they're sexy.
this is the vertu constellation

I got the Storm, the current version sucks. I think there were few phones released (some stores only had 4, some stores didn't have any) because they newest software was jacked up. You can tell they had to revert to and older version of software. Hopefully the issues will be addressed, then the phone will be bad ass.
I have a friend who still refuses to get a cell phone to this day lol
