Line up is frickin sweet. Peeved bout the venue coz it sucked for Stereo. Lets hope they sort their shit out for FMF and TE.

stereo was at melbourne show grounds, this is at flemington.

I actually LOVED the show grounds tho, was one of the best venues for a festival i've been to, each to their own tho

It was AWESOME for stereo!

It's a good decision, plenty of space to keep the stages far enough away from each other that it doesn't sound like EgosXII mixing non stop!

has anyone else viewed the lineup with almost the utmost disappointment?

I think il go away now and vomit/weep

They should change the title from Future Music Festival to "Heap Of Shit"

this is going to be a repeat of this years FMF... hawtin will kick ass as will angello and ingrosso... and then NERD will just come out and kill my high ruining the whole experience for me

This shit belongs at another event... perhaps hot bbq

I miss hardwares influence on a good party

Anyone for Monopoly?

Not sure where you have been V but The Hot BBQ has been merged with Summadayze this year!

If there was a festival that was based on solid Hip Hop acts like NERD then of course I would support it. Them playing at FMF is not ideal but when they have the stronghold on the market, what can you do! Dont hate NERD, hate the game!

How many times have they brought Tocadisco out here?

Posted by stipsy on Dec-16-2008 22:23:

cant beleive the whingers having a go at the venue change....for fucks sake..........

Posted by Jake willo on Dec-16-2008 22:58:

Just brought tickets for this....$85 not bad considering the $130 charge last year. on ticket master it said the prices were going up to $130?? if this is the case it probably won't sell out....

Keen to go just for Oakie and Schultz.....any ideas on what the extra announcements will be? Hopefully hawtin!!

you are quite right liz

i weep in dissapointment

and yea, toca has been raped by the aussie dance scene

paul oakenfold... sell out... i remember reading some time ago about him selling out the industry in search of greater cash from the film industry. he should stop ripping off song names from russ meyers films and write proper music once again.

weeps

bah! no funds to go to this one. Although afterparty.......

Posted by Light The Fuse on Mar-10-2009 03:57:

got there about 3.30

bodzin was pretty kewl i thought - bizarre but entertaining none the less
caught a bit of super 8 n tab - pretty standard
chris lawrence was wikkid as usual - probably one of the best of the day for mine
sander kleinberg is a wierd one - probably the most regressive progressive dj on the PLanet - however if you could find 5 dj's in melbourne that PLay like that you could probably bring prog back on a large scale
richie hawtin probably got me the most lost in the music of anyone all day..such tactile sounds
markus shultz was okay for some prog trance at the end - mixing is a little stretched out for mine - but yeah pretty kewl

missed oakey - just too many damn peoPLe (and punch ons) in the main area
- the days of big future (and probably all big city dance music events) in melbourne being anything remotely resembling a rave are dead....

..as are my days of attending them as a patron
