Updated. I really can't believe how fucking epic a tune that Jefforson Airplane track is.

Hadn't heard it until it appeared in "Gonzo: The Life and Work of Hunter Thompson", but the little guitar bit sounds rife for a decent bootlegging.

I have also been killing the Al Green/Marvin Gaye/Otis Redding stuff as of late, but that Brenton Woods track is my jam of the moment when it comes to the old mo-town/R&B stuff.

But yeah - my musical tastes have been a bit eclectic and odd lately, heh.

Really can't recommend that Brad Mehldau album enough, one of the best things I've ever heard, and I've gone back to it a number of times over the years.
