simply put, you'll NEVER be on my level when it comes to knowing EDM, case closed. |
Thanks for the pm, your abuse was on a level that i'd class as 4/10, could do better.
Let's face it, you used to bum Alphazone & harder trance but not the good stuff. You liked shitty stuff and we laughed at you, not just for your bad taste but because of how ignorant and abusive you were to anyone who dared to disagree. As someone who claims electrohouse is the future, i'm pretty sure that deems any argument that you're on a different level when it comes to knowing EDM invalid, as I don't know many people who sink quite that low. And why do i keep posting here? Simple, aside from pointless ****s like yourself, there's some people with very good taste who've introduced me to sounds that I wouldn't have got without. Deal with it or just bring the abuse up so the mods can suspend you for 6 months more peace.

Trance was beautiful when it was about the synths and melodies, not when rent-a-vocalists where slapped on everything to 'appeal to the masses', or when all the basslines on anything sub 138 went abrasive, electro fartish and lost the emotion and warmth of times past.

I agree. Ian's argument is a failure about Mattsanity's complex understanding of trance. Maybe Ian's journey was sugarcoated with "the classics", but how can you truly judge the whole, without diving into the worst?
Survivalists travel to the worst of the Earth's environments to get even the bleakest of understandings of the fragile human life, and through Mattsanity's suffering of the worst in music, he has, in turn, become the be-all, end-all of EDM criticism.
