I spent some time chilling with him at his hotel after a gig... no matter how much I would say that he's cool (which I did find), I'd get shat at.

Sander van Doorn.

Or when he came back from his Montreal "in between gig" to Boa for Day

The two that promptly come to mind for me are:

Steve Porter

no?

Posted by geroin on Dec-31-2008 03:11:

other than what people mentioned, seth troxler
lol that guy is so chill
people kept knocking his turntables like 5 million times but he still kept cool, after even hung out and had a bunch of drinks with me and others
i asked him what was his most memorable gig and he told me he played in switzerland somewhere in some small room that fit maybe 30 people with ricardo and richie. fuck that would be epic.

I remember that morning/day at the zone. That was most excellent indeed!

This thread's a bunch of lies..

Pfft hahahaaa!!! What a ridiculous question!

In my "HUMBLE" opinion - "If you're the best, fuck the rest."

Seriously,...what do you guys expect? He or she has good reason to have some sort of chip on their shoulder. It's quite the achievement to rise above the average!

'Humble'...what exactly IS humble? ....ask yourself that.

RJ killed it at the loft party last night...man, I didn't even know! He's good.

mark knight
d. ramirez
john 00 fleming
bad boy bill

Useless thread really, most DJs are humble or will put out that image, for obvious reasons... the more interesting thread would be to list guys who are complete opposite of that

If we talk about humble, SVD and Menno are easily on the top of the list!!

In terms of (humble + very cool) I would say ferry...... he is the funniest and most down to earth DJ I have ever met. very chill and *always* having fun. <3 <3 Him, or Eddie Halliwell.

least humble: markus schossow. hilarious guy, but verrrry raunchy and not-so-humble humor! hahaha!!!

Posted by tortoise on Jan-01-2009 21:48:

John "Quivver" Graham. met him a few times. real down to earth. also J00F

Posted by stevehayward on Jan-01-2009 22:38:

Max Graham and Mark Knight are on the top of my list, and have been for well over 10 years
