my gf and i are staying at the miami beach resort and spa... i wanted us to stay in a nice place (Even though we'll hardly be there!) since its her 21st bday as well as her first WMC! we got a good rate cause we're badge holders, but it seems like its kinda far from most of the parties we'll be at! does anyone know how much a cab from there to downtown (for ultra/space/karu and y) would cost? would we be better off getting a rental car and paying for parking? honestly i'd prefer to take the cab or bus, cause i don't want to drive fucked up back to the hotel every night!

Take the bus! Get a week-long pass for ~$20 each. Worth it just for the trips up and down Collins Ave from your hotel to SoBe.

I tryto stay away from Condos and Condo/Hotel setups this year. From previous experience they usually have hotel security, and the 80 year olds are on watch the minute you get in there when they see a younger crowd. We got accused of having a party when we didn't even have a party.

from the reviews online its not lookin good. I just need one person to tell me its not that bad and its only a place to keep my belongings and catch some solid chunks of sleep in between shows. if it is THAT bad though, i might have to make other arrangements.

We have a 2 bedroom condo... so they can be found you just need to do lots of research.

That's great, me and my friend are supposed to party it up for the weekend, and now I got to be the third wheel. I almost want to tell him to find another room but he has party favors and I do not want to go by myself. His girl gets naked and shit when she get's f'ed up and as soon as my friend left she was hangin on me grabbing me and shit with my gf there.

Dreamer, it is costing us 600 this year for the week so I'm quite happy with that
