^^ I've seen every episode like at least four times, and I'm still as obsessed as I was somewhere around 2001

I was bummed when HBO got rid of Lucky Louie, that show had the laughs

Originally posted by Scoops HBO has consistantly had top programming on air for the past 25 years... go back to 1983 and The Hitchhiker and Not Necessarily the News and even Fraggle Rock then bring in 1st and 10, Dream On, Kids in the Hall, and Tales from the Crypt. Then in the late 90s you had Arli$$, The Sopranos, now theres Curb, Entourage and other great prgrams.. Showtime has 1 decent show, thats it. HBO > Showtime

Originally posted by bas That show was amazing. I'd never heard of Louis C.K. up until that point and I became a HUGE fan. He needs to do more comedy or shows or something, he's amazing! He did an HBO special maybe a year or two ago that I had saved on my DVR and I couldn't stop watching it. I almost peed on time.

watching the final 2 eps tonight.

Originally posted by pkcRAISTLIN yeah, that's definitely the attraction, everything reeks of realism and nihilism. the street characters are all so interesting. i just need a few characters to really love, and i only had 1 and now he's dead and im feeling a little jaded! watching the final 2 eps tonight.

It's on Showtime and not HBO, but Weeds is fantastic. Also, Mad Men.

HBO Latin America also has some great shows. They had a show called Epitafios a few years ago about a serial killer, and the last episode of the second season aired last night. Fantastic show. The first season is out on DVD already, I highly recommend it.
