Agreed it should be a skill to dj, it should be up to you not the computer. But as said all you want to hear when you're out is good tunes not shit tunes mixed really well. Its not that hard to mix tunes though, come on lol.

i have been sitting back quietly, watching this thread develop, patiently waiting for more people to make fools of themselves hating ableton before i unleash the absolute argument ender. this will end the argument once and for all and should be the example to bring up again and again everytime someone comes in here and shits on ableton djing. ready? here it is...

Nevermind then.
I think it's pretty fucking cool as long as you can pull it off.
I just would rather see something amazing like that done with samples and loops of original material than pieces of other people's tracks.
Like live production? That is a pretty nasty idea indeed, I'm pretty sure some guys out there do that.
