Sounds like an exception to the norm.

no no, sorry. Not physical malicious attacks. But from what i remember, it would have been the guy/girl bullies that were more often then not, the ones doing the teasing in the change rooms or wherever. it's just hard to avoid them/block them out. For me not to be affected by other people's negativity, i literally have to not be around it/them. Which is what i try to do in my life today, i walk away, or cut those people out of my life entirely. In high school, that was very hard to do.

I have enough worries in life to give a damn about opinions of a lot of people who doesn't really matter in my life.
Plus I'm completely comfortable with myself, including what I look like. It's genetics. I can't fight that. So, it's okay that I'm Asian or have an oddly shaped head or whatever.

But, that's just me

Lol, fixed.

Sorry to offend you sensitive types, but I just can't feel for you, lol. In fact I find most sensitive people's pleas to the emotions of others quite manipulative. Of course more people should make an effort to "do unto others"; however, it's not everyone else's job to walk on eggshells because you can't handle the harsh realities of life...as if sensitive people really have it so much harder than anyone else.

lol. no problem... i enjoyed our little debate And i am known for being overly sensitive at times....i'm not even going to TRY to deny that. That's something i am constantly trying to learn to improve about myself. At the end of the day....everyone deals with life situations differently based on how they are brought up, personality, their environment etc.... to each their own. There's never just one way to view a situation...or just one way to react/deal with it either. That's what makes life interesting i guess :P

Why shave? Be a bushy old man!

Next up: WTF is wrong with old people who don't wash their pubic hair walking around public change rooms

I hear ya, C
I'm not overly sensitive at all and it still bugs me, so I doubt it's all to with our sensitivity levels
I strongly agree that it's to do with upbringing

and FYI, whoever mentioned Europe and old ladies tanning topless - they only do it on vacation, you'll never catch them doing that when their on their own soil

There IS something we all have in common though: underneath our clothes we're all naked! The obvious solution to reaching a better understanding of each other is clearly to be naked more.

Yay!

I think it buggs me because everyone is descreet when they chnage they face the locker when taking off their pants and the old timer have gotten to that point were they no longer care, i do think that because of the options shared in this thread i do see things in a different way now.

My friend has a cottage on Christian Island. Whenever we used to go up there we always tanned topless. Yes, it was a mixed group. Ain't no thang.

That's how I feel....
complaining about old men who walk around nude sounds like you'd prefer to stare at young chisled men walking around nude

Just try it their way, before you know it you'll have your 6'9 frame swinging your junk at everyone you pass...which would probably be hilarious considering it's eye level with anyone who is short bwahahaha

Honestly what the f$%# is wrong with old people, I go to good life and its only the dudes who are 60 plus that prance around butt naked around the change room.

Like I wear a towel till I change and then Im naked for a few seconds, Im six nine I have nothing to hide its just a respect thing Im sure other dudes don't need to see my junk.

But these old guys walk to the shower with their towels on their shoulders with their old saggy balls flopping around and some of them shower with the curtain open like do I need to see that and to make matters worse they come to the benches and put one foot up on the bench and talk to each other ..... ahhhhhh gross

Thats nothing!!!!

Try having an old fart stare across the shower at you, while they soap their fat beer cuts and drewl.

wtf!

on another note, my gym has a 200m indoor 3-lane track (walking, jogging, passing) and I constantly have to dodge to avoid running into the back of seniors who walk side by side gossiping. club staff won't say anything to them out of fear of offending someone.
