You have to acknowledge that no patron in their right mind would testify on behalf of CZ. Even if you didn't participate in something illegal, you probably saw something once, which leaves you choosing between perjury or testifying against a club that is allegedly tied to biker gangs.

Whats with everyone complaining that someone posted a map of CZ on here...

cops freely walked through there all the time... ie. before any of the raids... they could have very easily just brought a pen and a pad of paper and drawn their own map of the place... its not a fucking maze

or plain clothes officers... get some 25 year old cop, put a t-shirt and jeans on him... tell him to go down there, scope out the place, and draw them a fucking map

its not like you need a secret pass to get access to that place... police have probably been in there every weekend since the day it opened 10+ years ago...

I was seriously asking, because I thought that was why people were up in arms...some joke map of the place done by a patron got posted. Obviously it didn't come from the club itself.

I Know there was one that had all of the areas laid out by the type of individual that hung out there.

I have it, and it just names sections of the club.. nothing really that bad about it.

just like those of us who frequented the place 5-7 years ago..the new batch of disciples will one day look back and see the hell hole for what it was...

The Comfort Zone is one of the best clubs in Toronto! This is why I started this thread. Somebody was going to do it, might as well be somebody who has the balls to step up for this place.

CZ is strictly afterhours. Hello! Sunday morning! If u want to do bottle service and VIP and deal with BS nightclub politics then take your pick.

Barbina is right, people will love or hate this place. If u hate it then nobody but you is going to lose any sleep over it. CZ is a club where anybody can go and feel comfortable, pun intended! That's why there's a gay section and a chino section, a chill spot, a dancefloor, a patio, etc. It's a non-pretentious club for everybody.

Zone's been open for over 11 years. It has been evolving since it opened. At this moment the club is keeping 100% with the cops. The cops have been up the clubs ass since the raid happened and the club has been taking it. The people who have been getting the short end of the stick are the patrons. I know regular clubbers and workers who have been searched and questioned coming in or leaving CZ for months and months. This really is harassment. I support the club. I will always support the club because I can see past the reputation that keeps randoms out.

I've told law enforcement and bouncers alike to be nice to the patrons. Good people go there to listen to good music.

or some people just see it as what it is.. a crazy afterhours with a whole lot of potential for fun.

if it controls your life that much that you have to look back and see it was a hell hole.. well then obviously you're not stable enough to party.

its a club. its dirty. theres drugs. OMG who would of thought there would be DRUGS in a CLUB.. omgomgomg

you not liking it and calling the place a shithole really doesn't change anyones mind.

Its a lot different than it was 5-7 years ago. Ask the 'veterans'. Thats serious business
