You're sexy when you get angry. Btw, I'm not saying it to piss you off, it's how I honestly feel. I can see its a touchy subject so I leave it at that.

I just thought of this... aren't you going to have a tough time understanding me if I talk to you with my mouth shut.

all of vivid's points abt trump are irrelevant to his business decisions. the fact is that this man is an opportunist who finds the right deal at the right time (and pays top dollar to his advisors to help him) and this keeps him on top.

the man creates buzz, and as mentioned already, vivid's perpetuating it.

I didn't read through this thread or read vivid's points. Is Trump the worst business man ever? I doubt that but his "genius" is grossly exaggerated and I have little respect for his business practices or him as a person.

IMO, Trump is nothing more the a glorified real estate speculator. His connections, originating from his father's business and his ability to take large risks is largely responsible for his success. But his risky speculation has also led to his downfall, for a second time. For me that puts his business genius in question.

Part of being a good business mind is to make money in hard times and to manage risk. He has shown that he's really good at using his name and bs to over leverage himself. I'm glad I don't work for him or his companies. He seems to care little how his risks may harm the many people who work for him and depend on their jobs to take care of their families. I'm not impressed by people who throw around money for their own ego.

Most of the appeal of Trump is this Hollywood image that he has developed for himself on TV. TV doesn't equal reality.

Rihanna got back with Chris Brown? Damn she's stupid.

bro ur lil sister makes more money thenme right now.

but the point is they make shit all compared too how much ppl think they make.

Just like the rap industry,. Do you think they all have million dollar deals.....fuck nooo. you see them in rpivate jets etc because those jets belong to the record company. they fly them out to the expensive parties, rent them an expensive suit give htme a few expensive girls for the night so they can be seen. then ban the next day take a fuckin cab home to your fuckin piece of shit house, girls left before u woke up, the gucci suit is already back and here's your shitty 100 thousand dollar deal for your next hit album. hope it lasts you until next year.

and like i said before the only people that do reality tv are washed up actors and washed up celebs who need 10 bucks for gas to start their car......what the fuck is a "Real Estate Tycoon" and "world renowned" business man doing on reality tv???

fuckin 50 cent does reality tv now that he can't sell a record.......like cmooon does nobody else not see how fishy that smells??

Posted by winston on Mar-11-2009 05:04:

please, i don't feel sorry for her. well, i think it's wrong, but to care is a bit too much. i don't really care about famous people.

Dude look at the guy's apartment. He has literally covered every inch that he could with gold. The guy's a clown. Just a ruthless rich salesman with no class (or taste).

Posted by Silky Johnson on Mar-11-2009 05:25:

If Donald Trump was a real person, he'd be Mayor Quimby.

Posted by Sadface on Mar-11-2009 05:50:

The dude did have a net worth of $3 billion a year and a half ago. You don't get that rich from reality TV.

Posted by Renzo on Mar-11-2009 06:44:

I know Chris Brown and Rihanna are recording a track together.

I hear he fucks her up in the middle of the song.

There is a widely regarded perception that Donald Trump is not classy because he behaves like someone from the nouveau riche. Yes, he's wealthy but that wealth was inherited from his father. He did have nice education and upbringing but after all that, you would've thought he would act classier and know better than to show and jeopardize his wealth and reputation by doing reality tv shows and going to WWE etc.

I grew up and go to school with people who have wealth in their bloodline, and if there's one thing I know about these people who've been rich since childbirth, it's that they never show off their wealth. Especially in national television. He advertises so many of his projects and property there you'd begin to think 'Ok, I get it, you're fucking rich', but he continues to feed us with these unnecessary images of him in his apartment full of gold, helicopters etc.

I don't know why you would wanna flaunt your wealth and extravagant lifestyle that much because of a) security for the most part and b) reputation among the top wealthiest businessmen in the world who have much more than he does.

Also, after reading more into Trump, he made some wrong decisions midway through his career and had some financial problems during the 90s. Not the perfect businessman as many regard him to be. How hard is it to use your father's money to make a new building in a location everyone knows will be good anyway but they just don't have the money to make one?

I has respect for Trump. I'm glad he said what he did. Maybe if enough people say it it'll help her head.

2 words: Trump Tower, Chicago. nuff said.

At this point, he is a celebrity before he is a businessman. It's like that.

1) Bling to the max apartment.. looks like it was built by an uneducated peasant or ghetto pimp who's never heard the word class who suddenly came accross a lot of money. "Oooh the more gold I put in here the more it'll tell people how rich I am".
2)Non-classy show-off behaviour.. the man doesn't understand subtlety or something being understated.
3)Shithouse taste (the hairstyle, the flashy ties).
4)Arrogant attitude.
5)Constant attention-whoring (this being a case in point). Has nothing to do with the people involved and has no idea about the psychology of abuse or any other aspects.. but has to go out and say something about the latest headline just to get his photo out there.

It's a psychological condition.. one that allows women to kill abusive partners that they keep going back to and not get done for murder. Anyone that's worked with seriously abused women will tell you about it and how common it is... they'll also tell you how unproductive it is to trivialise it or call these women stupid or losers.

Great I love it when celebrities decide to use their potentially huge audience to express their opinion on things they have no idea about or experience of. Maybe we should find some racist celebs to go out and tell us how they see it too. Hey Mel Gibson tell us how Jews run the world...
Informed opinions are great. Blabbing your mouth about stuff that a)Is none of your business. and b)You have no idea about is just a sign of your own ignorance and attention whoring tendencies. If he went out and spoke his mind about the real estate market I'd be more inclined to listen.

/thread

jenny he does have a little mayor Quimby in him, though the Donald is mean spirited

We all went through the knee jerk reaction to Rianna, she's stupid, yeah she probably is but anyone who knows anything about batter spouse syndrome knows that these women almost always fall back into the same relationship either with the same man or another one. I was actually surprised when she pressed chargers. Its really sad situation.

Frankly, with that much starting money to work with, you have to be a complete idiot not to easily make more. There is Donald Trump. I'm more impressed by people like Buffet who started with nothing.

what you fail to recognize here is that there is a massive global audience that wants to see that crap. we're all pretty smart here so this shit is tacky and gaudy but the we all know that the average American is stupid enough to re-elect dubya and the average poor person watching this shit on tv in some third world is excited abt the Amercian dream. so, there is a huge demand for that type of gaudy behaviour and da donald is just living up to it. i don't like it either, but it's rational.

in fact, his near-bankruptcy in the 90s (where he almost lost all his father's wealth) shows that he has wicked business acumen because he gained it all back and more, on his own feet.

Just because you can rationalize the motivations behind bad behavior doesn't make it right. Can you blame a rapist? He sees a hot chick jogging in the park. Decides to skip all the expensive, time consuming formalities of courtship and fucks her on the spot.

He's a good gambler especially with house money. Btw, its easy to make money when every thing is going up in value, like buying stock in a bull market, you look like a genius until the market goes down.
