Hm, curious.. at tribalmixes they are having a talk about whether this mix is actually Desyn's. Someone says it is Behrouz's. And the torrent even got deleted once claiming it was fake. :)

what a great mix, thanks for sharing. Jimbo and felix must feel special, haha

I don't have any doubts that this is a Desyn set. Firstly, because every track in this mix is pitched down quite a bit, something Desyn is known for doing.

Secondly, tracks like 'Washes Over Me' & 'If You Can't Sleep' have been staple tracks of Desyn since WMC.

Though I'm not an avid listener of Behrouz, when listening to the tracks he played in the Desyn, Behrouz & Alex Private Birthday set from last year, their sounds seemed quite a bit dissimilar.

I really like this mix. The opening track is amazing. Not as good as his club home 2006 but still fantastic.

Posted by rog2kay on Apr-21-2009 17:55:

and to add about what cmay said : track 7 and 10 are defo desyn style plus he likes to drop some cassette in most of his sets !!!

Posted by wowsa on Apr-22-2009 22:48:

10 needs to be solved

Posted by finalfantasy on Apr-23-2009 01:48:

anyone knows 13?

Posted by sot on Apr-23-2009 02:18:

definitely dig this set.

he played most of the tracks in his set at love here in nyc few weeks ago so its without a doubt desyn.

saw behrouz a week or two ago and he played NOTHING like this. played totally different. alot more monotone and a bit more on the 'bodega house' front. don't think its a term yet as i just made it up lol, but it describes tracks like that michel cleis track.

Posted by chiprognut on Apr-23-2009 03:47:

WOW

This set is Abso-F'n-lutely awesome

Don't know what is the deal with all these people asking if we're sure this is Desyn. It's like they've never heard of him until recently...otherwise how can anyone listen to this and doubt that it's Desyn?

THIS is exactly the type of music that made Desyn what he is now, and precisely why I started the Archive!

i'd be more inclined to question all his other sets between 2006 and this one.
