Wow...and the last song that I've ever downloaded off AG wasn't a Trance/electronic tune...my lady "friend" asked me to dl Seven - Walk With Me, heheh, *sigh*..and just when I was training her into a trancEaddict...AG shuts down...guess now I'm gonna have to send the good stuff to her personally.

So, we need to agree on a new sharing media..
I have like 50+ gigs of music, half of it is trance.
U guys also have tons of music.
So if all TA's agree to form a DC node or something, we'll have enough critical mass to make this work.

let this shit go
just use KAZAA its the next best thing

Kazaa
The big problem of kazaa (besides sucking big time) is that it's the next RIAA target, so it wont last long (it is already applying for chapter 11 i think)...
We need something that will last more than a couple of months...
Good alternative
SoulSeek
I'm still coming down from a state of absolute shock.
I basically collapsed when I first saw this thread. Today is a very sad day for us TAs and for the rest of the file-sharing community.
Long live AG. It's a shame to see you go man but sorry RIAA just have to take you down
AS FOR RIAA, FUCK YOU !! U FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT. HOW DARE YOU TAKE TAKE AG AWAY FROM US !!! HOW DARE YOU !!! HOW FUCKING DARE YOU !!!
U THINK U CAN STOP MP3 FILE SHARING HUH? U THINK U CAN STOP US ALL BY FUCKING AROUND WITH YOUR COURT CASES AND HAVING YOUR ******Y LAWYERS COVERING YOUR ASS? WELL PLEASE DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE JOKING!! WE WILL NEVER DIE AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO SHARE FILES AND IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY LAWSUITS YOU CAN PULL U STINKING FUCK !
I KNOW YOU MUST BE PRETTY ECSTATIC RIGHT NOW EH? DANCING AROUND IN YOUR FUCKING POSH ASS SUITS AND CRUISING AROUND AROUND YOUR FUCKING CONVERTABLES. WELL I JUST FEEL SORRY YOU PPL, I REALLY DO! U WILL BE BECOME THE MOST HATED COPORATE ORGANISATION IN THE MUSIC COMMUNITY IF U AREN'T ALREADY. IF YOU EVER HAVE KIDS THEN THEY WE'LL BE PUBLIC ENEMY NO.1 FUCK ALL YOU GENERATION OF TOSSERS !!!
**Frustration , frustration **
Sad thing is, it affects you great TAs worldwide. I feel like heading over to Austin, which is about an 8 hour drive away, pushing the "ON" switch, and setting up a barricade so the RIAA can't do any more damage.

bad language will make them stop
are u gonna hit them with your feather duster next?
one word.
BUGGER
first off this wasn't real peer to peer .. otherwise they couldn't block it
damm it I am so pissed
might as well go back to 56k now cause dsl ain't gonna much of a use anymore to me
RIIA is damm tricky in their ways to act, they settled this off the courts, putting anonymous pressure is always better to crush an opponent,
let's be happy for AG ... at least they did it off court, maybe saving them from huge legal costs implicated had they gone through months possibly years of legal battle.
I seriously think their system should be cloned ( yeah cloned! cause it worked damm good, resumable d/l, groups, artist pages etc etc ( apart from all the blocking bs ) and installed in a non copyright country ( taiwan anyone???!! ! ( which I'm going to tomorrow by the way ) )
one thing I had never understood with napster was that all copyrighted material was blocked, did that mean they had done the same thing as ag ? Block artists unless they consented ?
The whole block system AG had could have saved them, think about it, it's really Mainstream artists that didn't want their stuff downloaded ( to some extent ) and the block system was a system which prevented the downloading of songs blocked for copyright issues.... and no FUCKING RIIA MAKES THEM BLOCK EVERYTHING UNLESS ARTISTS CONSENT! (that's f*** bulls*** )

Today is very SAD DAY!!!
FUCKING RIAA!!!
SO WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW???
AG IT WAS THE BEST!!!

BASTARDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE (THE MP3 COMMUNITY) SHOULD GET THEM BACK REAL GOOD!!! ALL THOSE WHO KNOW HOW TO HACK INTO SYSTEMS SHOULD HACK INTO THE IRRA SYSTEM AND SEND THAT MOTHER ****** DOWN TO HELL. I WOULD DO IT BUT I BEARLY KNOW HOW TO USE A COMPUTER
OMG
I just logged in to the internet about 5 mins ago due to some server problems at my ISP, I started Audiogalaxy and started to search for some songs and every single one was blocked! I even tried to search for some crappy old pop songs but they were blocked too! I thought wtf and enter TA forums to see if anyone else had this problem, and now I see this
oh well...Hope there will be another great p2p program like AG! RIP.
