I've been in 3 fights.

.....one was actually well-documented in a 20-or-so-page-thread in NYTA, when armin came to Pachita in 2008.... Jesus, after a few pages of armin reviews, the whole damn thread turned into a "why NYTA got into a brawl thread".....

Edit: clearly this was the last time I fought. I am always out for a good time and never EVER *EVER* start shit....but once in a while there is only so much you can take and SNAP (which is not a good place to be for me anger-wise....)

^^That particular one turned into a club BRAWL, where as the other two were solo-dolo.

Only been in 1 real fight in my life, and that was in high school.

This douche bag friend of my best friend. We just didnt get along. Period.

We were in totally different circle, different friends, though we did share the one friend, who happened to be my best friend (and one of the douche's better friends too); thus, I was forced to deal w/ his presence far, far too much (daily, Monday to Friday at high school between classes or at lunch).

Anyways, he was always marking jackass, smartass remarks to me. Constantly. Normally Id just reply back with one of my own; we'd say sarcastic shit back and forth and then eventually drop it and/or head off to class or something.

Well, near the end of one lunch hour, he was being annoying as fuck again, and suddenly, finally, I'd just had enough. Told him, "Fine, you wanna fight? Let's do it then! Right now!" (LOL, sounds so clich, but I swear thats how I remember the convo going in my head now that I think back about it.)

After the standard responses back and forth ("Yea. Fine. Where!?" "Right here! Outside. I dont care"), we ended up walking outside of the school with a group of people following us to behold the coming fight...

As he starts to cross the road (we're at the sidewalk/shoulder of the main street intersection that my high school is on), I told him, "Lets just do it here," and we approached each other and got into it, fists to cuffs.

Think it only went on for about 3-5 min (really hard to tell how long it really was), before there were cherry's flashing and sirens going off! (Fighting on the main street wasnt exactly the brightest location to choose in hindsight, obviously)

The cops throw me in the back of a parked cop car on the side of the road and started talking to the other guy outside.

About 10 mins later they came and talked to me. Got my home number and address (etc.) and said they'd be contacting my parents to inform them of this business (though, AFAIK, my rentals never got that call, or, if they did, they didnt care enough about it to bother "talking" to me which was awesome, since I was expecting them to give me serious SHIT for getting involved in a fight!).

And then the cops told me I (we) was *VERY* lucky... we were actually fighting and moving around on the sidewalk / shoulder of the road... 1-2 more feet over onto the grass and we'd have been on school property, meaning the school would have been able to press charges against both of us! There would have been ramifications and consequences to the fight. (Thank god we stayed off school property was all I could think afterwards! Felt like just dogged a bullet.)

As it was, once I was let out of the car, I walked back into the school and went to my English class which had started (which ironically too had windows facing the road where we were fighting, but large evergreen trees blocked the view; no one knew what happen, but for a couple people who'd left the fight early to get to class on time.). A few people asked me why the hell I came to class after that? LOL, what else was I gonna do? My face looked a little red. I had 1 cut, I think, that was it. No point in missing class.

I didnt see Matt at school for next couple days, but our mutual friend told me that apparently his nose looked a bit swollen (broken? still dont know), and his face looked much worse than mine! Semi black eye too. Nice! Ha-ha.

Neither one of us came out truly on top, I guess. Neither one of us really "destroyed" the other one. The fight was ended prematurely before one man was down and done. But, it seems I came out better from the fight than he. Just a little sore in my jaw, c'est tout.

Anyways, found the whole thing quite awkward and unpleasant (despite the adrenaline rush to be actually fighting!) fighting obvi is not my thing. I really had no desire to get into another fight anytime soon (still havent to this day, not a serious punching, etc. fight anyways) But, DAMN, it felt fucking GOOD AS HELL to have finally gone and done that! To have finally actively (and effectively) dealt with the BS Id been either ignoring or putting up with for months. Trading insults didnt solve anything, Id rather have just not had to deal w/ the BS in the first place. And after that day, I never did again. Matt kept his mouth shut around me from then on. We stopped talking altogether and just pretended the other person didnt really exist when around each other.

Which was all I wanted in the first place, lol. Peace. No daily/weekly drama.

lol you're just jealous cuz you don't know martial arts and your a chinamon!

BTW it's spamming if your connected to what your posting. I'm not. I'm ITF rated and have no connection, but with that kind of prize money I'll bet the fights are gonna be spectacular.

I left that life a long time ago, but still love to go to a good Elite AAA rated tournament. These are the tournaments where you'll sometimes see competitors taken out in stretchers for being knocked out cold. Bloody nose and cut skin is expected in these tournaments. The ones that would be held at the Etobicoke Olympium were the best cuz you'd see fighters from all over the United States.

I just figured if someone wanted to go see some good fighting techniques, this is the event to go to cuz the entrance is cheap and you see lots of good and bad fights.

I love you jamie!!! <3 <3

I think my most gangsta (ie: impressive WIN) fight was against a DUDE believe it or not. It was in college on the way back to the dorms from the bars.

This guy was slinging really insulting racial slurs at my friend for no reason at all. Like we were literally just walking down the street and he started his drunken ramblings at her. My friend, being the loudmouth that she is, yelled back at him. Upon this, the DRUNK white guy full-on-close-fist-punched my 100-lb friend in the face. She was knocked out on the ground....BADLY (yes a GUY hit a girl!)

Full ON RAGE came over me and i just attacked him. You just do NOT hit a girl!!! I think he was surprised, and I ended up knocking him down these small set of stairs with the force, and he was laying on the ground.

I was flippin mad so I ran down and just smashed my high-heels into his face....and when he covered his face with his hands, I went straight for the guys package. I remember just screaming some shit like "you wanna hit a girl, hit ME B*TCH!!! See what the f*CK YOU GET!!!! FIGHT ME, M*thaF*CKA!!!!!" hahah! omg.

I was furious (and drunk) and just kept beating the hell out of him, Ironically, his friend thought it was hilarious that he was getting his ass beat by a girl and didnt help him til he saw that his face was bleeding everywhere.

The dorms' security guard (who we love and called "fat Joe") saw the commotion and pulled me off of him with the guys friend. Ironically, both my friend AND the dude had to go get medical treatment. Served him right!!!

I've heard the same thing from my Eastern European coworkers. They talk about it like its such a normal thing while growing up. I just don't get the reason why... guess you have to live there to understand.

+ fighting in school doesn't get punished as much as here

I was religiously beaten up by a guy in 2ndary school because he felt like practicing his karate moves on me. He only targetted my legs so I was walked around with black and purple bruises all the time. The teachers did jack shit and they all knew what's going on. Then one day my Mom lost it and came down to my school, picked him up by his shirt colar and told him if he as much as looks in my direction, he's dead meat.

Eastern European fights are notorious for the use of knives and brass knuckles too,

oh i love this thread haha
I've been pretty tame lately .. I don't go out looking for fights but I seem to find myself in them randomly. My most recent altercation was outside of my townhouse in Florida haha. My bedroom was on the first floor with the window facing into a cute little lawn that I shared with the upstairs people. One night they had a party and this babyslut was standing outside of the window screaming to the people upstairs. My bed was right under said window so I opened it, told her to shut up and get lost .. as it was about 4am at this point. After turning away a head a swoosh, slam and was then drenched in beer. I couldn't belive she had the fucking balls to throw a beer through my window. Seriously? I freakkkedd out and went outside and she came at me swinging. It was actually quite funny. She threw a few punches, none of which even came close, then tried to kick me and fell. I punched her once in the face, caught her on the side of the nose and definitely broke it. Her boyfriend then came over and freaked while everyone else laughed. The guy whos party it was gave me a beer after they left and I sat outside for a bit before going back to bed.

Bitch deserved it. My hand was hurting though.

But I'm done being a hardass.

Intelligent verbal method don't usually work so plan b is applying force.
I man-handled a cocky Italian in my house, who at the time was an boyfriend of my sister. In the next two years, the Italians were presenting peace and I've must of shaken a dozen hands.
Head-butted some dumb Polack at a new years banquet hall party (12/31/06) because all night he was looking for trouble and he just picked on the wrong guy.

Weapons are for pussies. I beat the hell out of one of my employees with a cheese-stick when I was manager at Pizza Hut, he tried to steal it, but no damage done, and it's the only weapon I've ever used.

Most of my fights involved me holding on tight while they tried to throw me across the field (picture... chain-tossing?), getting them off-balance when I got my feet planted, and then smacking the shit out of them while they were on their knees.

If those are the exact words you used, I'm not surprised you got that reaction. Manners work both ways, and people treat you the way you ask them to.

I can kind of see her point though. Politeness isn't really the first thing on your mind when you're woken up at 4 AM in your own home by drunken assclowns who don't have the decency to move the party someplace not totally retarded. That goes double on weeknights.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jul-23-2009 23:10:

I see her point, but she didn't have to be a rude bitch about it herself. If you're gonna ask someone for respect, you better set the example.

Being woken up at 4AM isn't being treated with respect.
