Just round them up on several large buses, and dump them all off in North Carolina.

Just send them to Miami. They'll meet a ton of friends. I'm sure they'll enjoy the many bus rides we're giving them as well!

| I always pay to park in the deck in front of Opera and I've never had issues. I've had my car broken into twice when I've parked in surrounding "monitored" lots. |

1: Try at all costs to ignore them. Act like you're out of earshot or are focused on something else. 2: If they do engage you, simply say "Sorry man, all I've got is plastic." They run into thousands of people a night, and realize that it's often true that people don't carry cash, and that they'll run into hundreds of others that aren't you. They should leave you alone. 3: If that doesn't work, just tell them straight up "dude you're freakin' me out. I don't like that." and start walking faster. Most of them are harmless and will back off then. |

| Originally posted by Dojomaster26 I do #1 as often as I can. What happened Thursday was that the guy was right there at the machine ![]() I've said some variation of #2 quite a few times. Thankfully, I haven't needed to use #3, but what do you do if you're in a car and are stuck in a closed parking lot, with the bum in your way? Again, thanks for all of the advice. It really sucks that this otherwise nice city is being tarnished by a bunch of crack heads and bums... |
We had a homeless guy once follow us into the Quizno's on North Av., and after he saw us get change for our food proceed to ask us for money. I kindly told him to fuck off and kept walking, it works, 90% of the time they will not do shit.
When I was living at the Commons on Piedmont Ave. and John Wesley Dobbs Ave., I saw a homeless woman peeing in the bushes beside the Citizens Trust Bank, then she ran over to me asking for money. I politely said no, and kept walking. She followed me, noticed the cross around my neck (which does not signify Christianity for me) and said "JESUS IS WITHIN YOU LET US PRAY!" She fucking HUGGED ME and started to PRAY. I pushed her off and ran inside the Landmark Diner under the dorms, where she followed me yelling and screaming. The Diner apparently has this problem occasionally, because they immediately called the GSU police. That sent her running back into the streets.

Oh God that Cenci basement just screams rape.
Everytime I've been to Cenci the basement has been closed off. What does it look like?

just go with the flow. every major city, i guess even small ones, have crazies. and they are not all bad people, just folks that may be mentally ill, or addicts, or just down on their luck. like way down. but my point is, just don't try to engage any kind of interaction whatsoever.
be focused, and if someone does try to take it to the next level, like someone said, say you only carry plastic. just go with the flow, and try to acknowledge the homeless, don't discount it, but carry on with your business. have fun.
