i would have seriously been on my ass laughing my balls off about 5 years ago to even think that "dead mouse" would even become a householdish name in electronic music.

lord knows the world needed another "DJ So and So" tag or other various pretentious, deep, and emotional cliche revolving around a sense of euphoria... henceforth... "...for lack of a better name"

i dont know, but yeah, it all makes sense / has some kinda meaning to me at least.

i was on the train to a bloody beetroots/crookers/smd show in chicago with two other guys also headed to that show. neither of them had heard of the mau5man and i was all "god bless you, sirs"

deadmau5 makes ridiculously enjoyable music that, as he has said himself, is to be taken at face value. if you dont like his tracks, then thats your steez. but no one goes to a dance event to parse mixing, EQs, or song structures. so his art is no more or no less worthy than any high falutin goa, minimal, or tech house jump off! and as far as his lazy track titles go, i think they're pretty funny.
