nanothermites.

The only thing I can come up with is maybe if commercial airplanes have flares in them just in case someone decides to launch a heat seeking missile at it.
But why exactly would a domestic airliner have military grade flares in them? Answer? To defuse a threat from domestic terrorism.
Domestic terrorism? Am I talking about US Citizen on US Citizen violence?
Yep.
I wonder who was a US citizen on 9/11.

The autism vaccine thing has actually cost lives because people use that misinformation as justification not to get vaccines for preventable illnesses.

I beg your pardon? There's a reason why they're called 'conspiracy theorists' and not '9/11 theorists' or 'Roswell theorists'. It's because a majority of them will blindly believe the opposite of whatever the authorities or the media tell them. I don't think this qualifies them for 'stupidity directed at a certain subject'.

Rather, their mindset of logical reasoning and intelligence is inherently flawed, which you yourself admitted. In the context of life in general, I would say that the inability to employ logic is a fairly major flaw with serious implications.

Actually, plenty of people who only believe one theory are still labelled a conpiracy theorist, even though that's beside the point. The "subject" I'm referring to is that of government/authority being deceptive and untrustworthy. Perhaps "concept" is a better word.

Either way, my point is that governments very frequently lie to us, and shouldn't be trusted. What seperates a cynic from a conspiracy nut is spotting when it's just got a little too stupid to be true.

Not only that, but herd immunity in some places in the US has basically been eliminated because of this. California has a real problem with it. Some schools are vaccinated as low as 60%. Pretty horrible considering for herd immunity to be effective it has to be 80% or above.
