Old-school electro?

Dubstep?

Smash an adjective together with a genre and then start digging? (ie, "Jazzy DnB")

Make a daytime party warmup set

Posted by Lews on Nov-04-2009 22:20:

Acid Trance

Posted by Schadenfreude on Nov-04-2009 22:25:

actually afrikka bambataa style electro would be neat.

i have the records for that.

will consider.

thanks for the suggestions guys, i am feeling uninspired lately and need to mix more

hip hop mix was a fail...i am not a good "scratch" dj

Actually, a favorites all-vinyl B-sides mix would be neat

My dad really liked the 30 minutes of this set he heard on the way to the airport.

I've never ever heard him express interest in music like this at all, he's all about classic rock.

that is because i am an old dude and other old dudes get me

I've become one of those lamers stuck in the past haven't I? Nostalgic is my alt.

Posted by Schadenfreude on Nov-05-2009 22:14:

i'm leaning towards the real electro or the b side mix.

i have the tracks for those.

I love delta heavy era prog and was lucky enough to experience that tour, but there are enough people that do prog on here and would do it better than i could so i leave that for them

thanks again for the suggestions, it will make the free time i have coming up interesting.

interestingly enough the Montreal date @ Sona never made it onto the dvd because sasha was right fucked out of his skull. He could barely stand up by the end of the night

being old has its perks.

Shit. If you're stuck in the past, what am I?

I've got some reading to do now, I think I'm going to give this another listen. It's good stuff. If you can't decide on another genre to try, do another like this bad boy =p

Man people have to stop feeding him so much cocaine every time he comes here
