i'll take people who actually have strong opinions about music over a pathetic fan boy that accepts anything made by a certain person or group regardless of quality.

I am pretty sure that everyone lambasting Holden in this thread has bought BC or Holden releases at some point or another, or would if they were able to actually release something that was remotely interesting. Myself included.

Some of these newer releases sound promising in some aspects. I kind of dug the latest Luke Abbott releases. Ricardo Tobar is exceedingly hit or miss with me and usually miss. As far as Holden goes though, his sets are far more interesting than his productions, and that is when he's playing tons of weird crap like Kate Wax, Malcolm Middleton, The Mama's and the Papa's, and other stuff right next to janky fuzzno.

He's technically incredible but creatively stagnant. He's good at making that one type of music but I wish he'd branch out and try some more organic sounding stuff or work with live instruments.
