You def need more than 2 of those little napkins for a chicken parm though let's be honest.
That chick's belly omg!!
The napkins cop situation was done to build on the "all bald guys look the same" issue brought up before by the old widow! I though this, as the episode in general, was sheer brilliant writing. Perhaps the best since Kamikaze Bingo. The scene where the lady sits in the car, the Oldies song playing in the radio and she sees Richard Lewis getting the bat,..I was literally screaming.
The much more relaxed, less hectic and forced nature of the episode(as opposed to some previous eps where LDs seemed to intentionally look for trouble every minute), the way it all came together in the end, Richard Lewis, The Jerry-LD chemistry - pure comedy heaven!
"There's something good about being a little mysterious... Ooooo look at that... What's under that shirt?"

brilliant episode.
i also think it partly explains Kramer's "Bob Saccamano Story" where Kramer was on his way to the store to return a pair of pants, and he fell in the mud, "ruining the very pants he was going to return."
only 2 episodes left...
Last night's episode was one of the best ever and put me in a state of laughter I have never experienced before. The kiosk conversation with Leon had me literally crying (i'm talking rolling tears not just wet eyeballs) for 5 minutes straight. I had to pause to calm down as I was almost choking. Then came the Leon and Kramer as well as the final doctor's scene. I died. Simply incredible

haha Great finale, with a lot of irony, and plenty of Seinfeld footage, which was AMAZING!
yea it deff felt alot like seinfeld
especially with george i was cracking up
only thing i would have liked to see more was a funny kramer sketch
like a few weeks ago they showed newman, but he wassent in last nights episode...i would have liked to see those 2 do one last funny moment
but yea the whole season and episode was great the ending was deff a typical larry david ending lol
if the show does end it will deff go out in a high note
I was really hoping to see a full Seinfeld episode, but it was awesome nonetheless.
What a wonderful, wonderful finale. I got to see NEW seinfeld!! a stare down between larry and jerry!!! priceless. The coffee ring at the end, perfect. I mean, that was juts awesome. I called it, as im sure many people did, as soon as he pulled away from the kiss. LOL!!! just perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better, except more seinfeld.
fkn brilliant !
This season really was amazing...probably my favorite so far. If it ends up being the last they do, it was a great way to end it off. I was never a big Seinfeld fan when it was on, but it was cool seeing the whole gang back together these last few episodes. I found their humor funnier in the context of CYE than I did when the show ran.
i must admit a friend tried to put me onto cyi a few yrs back an i totally thought it was a snoozer then i started watching it with the parents a few wks ago an watched this season, i gotta admit it had me in stitches. Im not a big fan of seinfeld but cyi is funny as hell. the staredown was priceless and mocha joe gettin attacked by the dogs priceless!
a little late with this but this pretty much somes up what i wanted to say: do you respect wood?
Loved this season. One of my favorites for sure. The Seinfeld angle was brilliant.
Jerry and Larry stare-down was priceless hahaha
Is this the last Curb ever? I hope not...

| Originally posted by AY STAR yea i belive as of now, the show is at a stand still like they arent sure if it should go on or just end it on a high note i hope its not over either, between all the years of seinfeld and all the years of curb a show about nothing can go on for another 20 years lol |
i heard something bout it going to network tv dunno how true this is tho if it is then it will def lose a lot of its appeal since there is going to be censorship but i could be wrong i do recall the episode of south park where the profanity flew like the wind
but then again it was 2 in the morning on channel 11 so who knows

| Originally posted by yumpop According to my source, the show is over. They don't have any plans for two years out. They also didn't want it to seem cheezy and have a finale within a finale. Blame HBO, the Curb brand wasn't very profitable and has gotten more popular recently(like Seinfeld who had shitty ratings the first few years) and there is no budgeting for a new season. |
