-- Roll Call: JOHN DIGWEED & CHRIS FORTIER @ Pacha| 10*09*2009
Pages (4): « 1 2 3 [4]
From what I saw he was FANTASTIC. Couldn't stand getting punched in the balls every 5 minutes so I left early. Diggers is too big for Pacha imo.
Definitely one of my favorite nights of music in a while. Digweed through down some ridiculous beats. Nice crowd too...
Damm sick night out, $10.00 to see Digweed was a steal, the crowd was great meet people from Jersey, DC, NYC, Colombia, Brazil, Amsterdam everybody was chill and every one seemed to be really into the music. I stayed till the end with my friends and it was still packed, every one wanted more ! Digweed threw down a dope set with some sick tracks even though at first it was alittle slow but he picked it up later on ! Amazing night overall so this is exactly why I am more into this shit now then trance
Next Stop Chris Liebing !!!

Fantastic set by John. What a great night! Track ID would be much appreciated!
I spent Friday morning getting my knee drained of some fluid and in short my knee needs surgery. I refused to miss this night and I am so glad I made it. Sorry to hear some people had a bad time.
We had a table in the back corner so we were fortunate to have plenty of room for about 10 of us.
I gave up trying to ID tracks by the 4th track of the night and just enjoyed it. Melodic at times and when needed he just banged it the fuck out. GREAT GREAT night of music.
Track of the night for me. Radio Slave: "Hello There"
Also Chris Fortier with a nice opening set.

Thanks! Any idea for Vid 2?
Such an amazing night... I'm pissed I couldnt get there till 3
wow guys if that was a decent crowd I am completely and totally blown away by the horridness of new york city's dance scene.
I'm from Greece, living in new york for almost a year and this was the second time I went out to a club that actually plays good music (first was sullivan room which was ok), because of people always telling me how bad the crowd is at these places.
Well, I couldn't miss John. I've seen him all over Greece and I really love his music. I actually regret going. I tried to have a good time but it was impossible... I've seen my share of weird crowds at Mykonos and Ibiza, but no matter how weird they were they were stylish and they were nice people who really went there for the music.
I'm not going back to Pacha again. Actually, that club should change its name, it gives the real Ibiza Pacha a bad rep. My eyes were damaged by what I saw.
If that was a decent crowd I don't ever want to see a bad one...

| Originally posted by yumpop Pacha is a horrible, horrible club, don't get it twisted. But, this crowd was good in comparison to what is usually at Pacha, at least to people into EDM. Pacha Ibiza and Pacha NYC are like two different worlds, no one disagrees with that. You're just coming off very arrogant and obnoxious right now. I don't know how much cred you have considering you refrenced Mykonos and not Corfu, Kos, or Paros/Antiparos where all the parties really are now. We spend at least a few weeks every summer in Greece(1/2 elinitha) and are very familiar with the crowd. There is also different mixed of people. Are you there to have a good time or are you there to look down on people you decide to judge? Your comments seem like the latter and especially in Greece, that attitude isn't tolerated at parties. I have news for you, the "stylish crowd" you're looking for has never been and never will be the EDM crowd. The "stylish crowd" in Greece is full of Euro trash in two year old outlet designer crap, they drink too much, they think they're all that, and they are the Greek equivalent of the US guidos. You seem better suited for Pacha on other nights, you'll feel right at home with Jonathan Peters. For cereal, you don't deserve to know where there are good parties with your stank attitude. |
