| Originally posted by yankeeBaby wow, can you READ? I even quoted it for you where i said "this comment" (meaning MY COMMENT) coming from someone who likes techno and trance....therefore *I* like techno and trance. Its quite clear! I also like house, etc, but what does that have to do with me "bashing" you? I am not bashing you for anything, so please tell me where I was doing so?? My comment was in response to the fact that (clearly after 3 of your nonsensical posts) that you are having "fun" but not making any sorts of sense. The typical "stereotype of cheese" is something guetta/armin/oakenfold etc like (to name a few)......and you were using the term "cheese" with DT, which is certainly far from the truth, particularly in livesets (which, again, you certainly know nothing about based on your choice of words). Your several posts show, that you DONT get what I am saying, which is another reason why arguing with clueless people is a complete waste of time (hence my last comment). Also, its not about "what I know" its about "what I have experienced," and if you had been to DT as many times as I have (or at all), I was simply pointing out that using the stereotypical word of cheese is just NOT (nor never will be) associated with a danny T set (how can you when he typically plays dark house-y, tech-y type sets??) These aforementioned words dont go together with "cheese". last point being: who cares what others think about who likes what? (ie: your comment on how the people in this thread think trance-lovers are not credible). Its not about WHAT you like, its about knowing what you are talking about. I am fully aware that if I go to a trance DJ that I like, that I might hear what people call "cheese", and that if I go to a great techno DJ, that i probably *wont*, because cheese is not typically correlated with techno. Apologies for the long post, but I feel as if I have to repeat myself, because clearly posting, reposting, and re-quoting is not sufficient enough for you. |

it doesn't matter if its trance, house or techno and it doesn't matter who the DJ is....its all cheesefest 2009
Danny played ALOT of deep tribal techy house and the crowd was eating it all up.
Amazing night.
Good people.
Good looking people.
Nice to see woodbridge wasn't in the crowd last night either. Definitely not the usual guv crowd. Danny always brings the real house music lovers out.
DANNY FOREVER!
Who the fuck is trying to argue that DT is cheese...?? Really, I'm so sick of noobs who have no clue...words like EPIC and LEGENDARY come to mind but cheese, not so much...
Maybe if you had just stuck with DT bashing you may not have looked so idiotic but trying to bring SVD into it just made you sound clueless...thank you and come again!

.

wow.. what a night.
mark knight was decent but i think he tried to stuff in too many of his own tracks. music matters a capella then the actual track later? come on, it's not that much of an anthem... i haven't been closely up to date with new music in months, yet most of his set seemed too recognizable. his style is great for the main room though, and he had me grooving pretty well for the most part.
danny T did not disappoint.. a lot of hardness and no cheese whatsoever. just like i noticed in '07 he seems to have a neverending stash of unrecognizable, raw beats designed to destroy big rooms... most of them aren't tracks you'd ever listen to start to finish, or even ever see on beatport, but he throws them all together seamlessly... the middle of his set did lose me when he got too slow paced and played some drawn out glitchy stuff. he had no problem picking things up for the rest of the night though. even with his mic monologues aside, you could tell the guy was putting his best effort in and wanted us to have a blast. just wish i had the steam to keep jumping around in his last hour
kh was terrible when i stopped by to check it out the first few times, but i actually had a good half hour in there near the end of crookers' set. they let everyone jump up on the stage and surround the booth from all sides, while crookers picked it up did some really fast cuts between their analog electro fare (they were doing dubstep and random shit before this). by the time they played a thunderstruck remix everyone up there was rocking out with arms flailing, atmosphere was INTENSE and to top it off a guy is jumping around in a gorilla suit.. one of those rare moments that only seem to happen around these hipster DJs. but still, half an hour was enough of it, and that stage was about the size of the room they should have been booked to play in :P
good moments with manzone & strong (gallery was good while it lasted, oh well), carlo lio and deko-ze as well
great night out overall, def made up for last month's mediocre LOL. crowd was a little sparse for an all access but i'd take that any day over the typical shoulder-to-shoulder fest
Few Mark Knight video clips - reminiscent of Bora Bora and Hed Kandi in Ibiza this summer (fun times good tracks):
For some reason didn't take any Tenaglia footage... guess I was busy dancing too much to some of the hard beats he was dropping (:
I wasn't feeling this party at all.
Mark Knight was meh.
Danny was better at CiRCA but he had his moments.
Had more fun in the Orange Room listening to the locals.
