Then again, it doesn't really matter what threads are started here because elitist fgts will just use any opportunity to bash. The most recent example was the Armin teaching how to DJ thread. Now I'm no fan of him but that video was somewhat useful and not completely pointless. It did not deserve such bashing and garbage to ruin it.

It's always same crowd of plink-plonk minimal hipsters of TA that do all the bashing in every single trance related thread, we all know who they are.

Tiesto's #2, therefore he must have just as good of music as Armin.

By your logic, anyway.

Are you joking? Peter Hook doesn't even DJ, he puts a mix CD in the CD-J and then dances around like an idiot.

If you want goofy dancing and gyrating from a trance DJ, then Woody van Eyden is your man:

Kaleidoscope is truly an accomplishment. I am not sure how anyone could be so unoriginal, cheesy, and overproduced?

Leave it to Tiesto I guess?

I CAN FEEL IT IN MY BONER

Quote "I have heard people in the business saying that Armin only plays music from the artists that he wants to support"

Are you still wondering why he doesnt support Tiesto this year.........?

I counted the unknown newcomers (around 29 in total from what I noticed - give or take) - each artist having ca. 1 plays in total during this year - thats 29 artists devided on 52 weeks (1 year) = 0,557 newcomers\unknown artists played each week on Asot..........!

trance, serios bizzness

Posted by DJ_Lord on Nov-06-2009 21:42:

dude, maybe your music sucks and armin just won't play it. i can perfectly understand why he won't play tiesto.

that's life. you failed miserably at producing, so go pack some fudge or something. ffs.

you should confront armin at one his gigs and punch him in the face, but let me know before u do that so i can come and record that shit.

Ok seriously dude. You know as well as most people here that Armin have more or less devoted his radioshow for cheesy supersaw trance.
I can only imagine how many cheesy supersaw track he gets in a week.
If your track wasn't played i'm sure it's:

1. Not enough supersaws. Try pulling in even more.
2. The break is too short. Try doing a 5 min+ one.
3. He was mistaken your track for someone else. I mean
how big difference can there be among all the tracks he plays.
It's not like people are going to tell the difference.

Posted by vascotia on Nov-07-2009 01:41:

Maybe Tiesto have changed his style a bit, but I guess there would be remixes of his tracks that still would fit Armins sets, I also proved that he sticks with his safe regulars, and plays 0,5! newcomers each show, ...and together with fact stories ive heard from labels\producers, this illustrates that im right about he being a sell-out-radio dj

- that was what I also stated in this thread. I knew people cant handle the truth.

I dont give a rats ass what you guys think.. so many tell me "why the hell do you care?", "dont act like this and that".. - simply cause you cant handle to read anything negative about some favourite DJ, you have to put the writer down in defence.

I state something that a lot of people in the business agrees with me on, but dont dear to talk about, so dont give me this line of "crap of bull****" bla bla-speach. I bet most of you guys are just fans, and havent been involved with any scene, and cant really know how its like, so shut up if you dont have anything more reasonable to say than that...

I care simply cause one single DJ is running the whole damn circus, and when that person is a sell-out and play music not only based on his own taste, I think the whole thing stinks - and its called selectively SAFING.

Peace out

You didnt have to tell me you are a huge fan, i allready knew that from your previous answer

this is like telling a Britney Spears fan that Britney is no good.

There seems to be alot of secrets in the backstage of the DJs that they dont want us to know about.
