tiesto was not even trance...that might be why it did not suck as much as i thought it would.
the vodka and oso bucco was the highlight of the night though.

the first time i saw tiesto was in 1998 and i actually liked it. :s
I have never actually seen him, believe it or not. Seen all the other big trance jocks, but never the biggest of them all.

Lost Treasures or Forbidden Paradise era would have been amazing. Magik era would have been great. Now you'd have to pay me.
I still listen to the first two Magik CDs. I would definitely go see him now if he still played that style of trance.

the last time i saw tiesto before this year was in 2004.
the billing was tiesto, preach (who was actually a good techno jock before he ruined himself with shitty trance..too bad another local that could have made something of himself had he not strayed) and misstress barbara. (another local).
twas actually a very fun night but then again i took enough pills to kill a bull.

Most recently, it was catching DJ Theo at a Halloween party - super obnoxious Jonathan-Peters-style hard house that sounded 10 years out of date, and poor mixing.

feeling nostalgic so why not.
probably in my top 5 nights ever. too bad i cant find part 3.
at the end it is a bit empty, but to be fair it is 1pm the next day
i miss this club and its massive custom meyer sound system.

i havent seen sasha or digweed since 2007...but from watching their utube vids I dont think I'd care for much of what they are playing now. They seem to be playing a lot of throw away type tracks...digital technology has done them dirty if you ask me. The soul seems to be gone. Again, I havent been to see them recently but I'd take the 2005 version of both of them over what they are doing now

This is a given but...Sandra Collins.
Her Tranceport album had just dropped giving her lots of hype, and I was relatively new to the scene, but man was I appalled. Too coked up to do anything.
Add Donald Glaude to the list too. Really don't see the hype behind this guy.
Last time I saw Sasha he sucked.
For this I'm going to have go with the likes of Steve Aoki, Boys Noize, and other DJs falling into this category. Just can't stand their brand of farty hipster electro that packs clubs full of 18 year olds wearing neon multi-colored clothes and flatbill caps. I probably hate this more than trance.
