i've never met anyone (and i don't care to) off the internet that i have a relationship with, but if that's the best way for most people to meet friends, then good for them.
But it always ends up in with this bullshit drama over slylee leaving, frenchie fucking with everyone and people getting upset about it, etc...
try seeing it outside the box and it's just pathetic and sad to see people who's lives revolve around cyber communities...but thanks for the entertainment.

i've met alot... and alot are cool but there are also alot more that i have met that i don't constantly chat with.

Thing is cor whores meet (alot now).. and we are active here. It's not that big of a deal.

I have my own set of friends without TA but some TA's have ended up becoming the greatest friends ever. I'm now the godmother of a baby who's mom I met off TA yet she lived 5 mins away from me.. went to my rival high school.. had some of the same mutual friends as me because we graduated the same class.

I fuking love Jenny. I've had the pleasure of partying with her 4 times now?? God knows.. but she is just someone who is so chill that you will have a blast no matter what you do.

My life doesn't revolve around this community.. My life revolves around having fun and meeting great people from all over the world. Some who I may have never thought I could be so close with.

That's the way I see it really. How awesome is it to go to DEMF or WMC and be in a crowd of thousands of people, and there we all are - a huge group of us - dominating the front of the stage or whatever. It's awesome!

fuk that.. for my 21st bday when I first met you guys in Toronto I was sooo close to going by myself .. Brent was back from the army and happened to join me last minute.

He flew from tampa and i flew from miami. we met at the airport. I never once felt like I was alone or anything. Toronto TA's were so awesome that year <3.

Ooh wait and I went to DEMF by myself this year too lol. Fuk that. It's fun We were such a huge group this year!

I can't be bothered to read through this whole thread. I'm indifferent on the issue. Sometimes she made posts with very valid points, other times she said something completely outrageous and did a terrible job at backpedaling. I have no problem with her, but at the same time I don't "miss" her.

It's been years since we had any of those kind of meet ups in the UK, they were legendary. I just wish DEMF and WMC were easier for me to get too so I could get my ass there!

you've got plenty of time to work out arrangements man. the one thing i've learned from ta is that if i were to travel to just about any major city in the US or canada, i would *probably* be able to find someone to hole me up for a couple days. i think that's pretty fantastic.
