no fun in that... it takes the whose social part of it out. For those without a GPS, I see why it would be kinds easy. No one should be a foursquare whore just to get free fries at the local greasy spoon. Besides... who wants to date someone who's all over the map constantly (not that that matters to me anymore now)?

Like, if you visit a place that you could have checked in to, but totally forgot, is it still "right" to check-in after you leave, or after you've checked in somewhere else? Couldn't people just search every single place you've been to in a day and just check in manually? Personally I think 'Where's the fun in that' and that it totally undermines the concept of the game, but I'm sure there are competitive people out there that want to ramp up their scores and brag about it to their friends. I need to know! |

I think they should have limited support to those who have a phone with GPS, and will only allow checkin if the GPS validates it.
Of course there would be TONS LESS players/participants, but it would be accurate.

I think it'd be cool if 2 peeps were at the same check in point at the same time it would alert you. Just for the fun social aspect of the game.

Been having fun with this app!! Some of the tips are funny.. I stopped the automatic of postings to facebook though. Found it a bit annoying.. not to mention.. didn't necessarily want everyone on there to see where I am, all the time.. and places which can't be named
