Karlo!!!! PLEASE Tell me you know what remix of Muzik Xpress that is!

I found it in this vid too!

And apparently SOS threw it down on the Tikki too!

Those S+D Vids are bitchin'! Makes me wish I was on that boat too!

Part 4 and 5, going from "for the time being' by Royksopp to Nic's remix of 'two dots' by Lusine... that would've been sublime to hear on a boat!

Sasha never fails to entertain

Man, that track as soon Diggers transit's into the mix sets the tone for fine ass house muzik. It's certain that they dropped all the bombs in the daylight.

It's good that this youngster plays alongside legends, Sasha & Digweed because he's trully a gifted DJ. What a track, what a track
I'm getting the feeling that at least S&D is stepping away from that minimal electo influenced bullshit tempo and going back to basics. Zabiela will do the same.

I tried to stay out of this thread but I eventually caved and read all the reviews and surfed the videos. I believe there is no way I'm missing this next year.

This place doesn't resemble Skybar in any manner whatsoever.

The music that was played on the outside stage was fun and light hearted mostly all day. It wasn't by any means super serious.

Blurry David Guetta was jamming in the booth with Joris, Nic, Josh Wink, and the million other DJs that were there that night...

Tiesto was taking lessons from Joris...

Josh Wink, Nic, Joris, Matthias Tanzmann, and Steve Bug

Yeah, add in a bit of Dijon...

And voila, you have a rockin' night at shine!

Posted by slingshot on Apr-05-2010 01:02:

I found the Ovum night at Shine to be a rather big disappointment (which could be a result of expectations that may have been a bit too high). Squillace vs. D'Julz were good but everyone else was less than stellar. Shine also is not the greatest of clubs. The sound in there is quite bad as well. I have a real tough time getting into club nights these days if the club doesn't have good sound. I would say well over 50% of my love for music comes directly from my love for sound in general.

I really like Shine as a club, but the sound leaves a lot to be desired. I was also kind of disappointed by the music that night, but my expectations where also very high (and rightfully so considering the line-up). I had a good night nonetheless.

After reflecting for a while I'd have to agree with this. You could barely hear any of the mids/highs. Although, even if I could have, I'm not sure I would have enjoyed the music that much more.
In the end, there was so much good music all week that I can just forget about this party and remember the good times.

I don't know what kind of deep house parties you guys went to but I am hearing from a bunch of people this was the deep house tune of the fest (echoed by the youtube comments I guess)

Beautiful tune.

Yup! That's a beautiful tune for sure! Didn't get to hear it, but wish I did.

I actually enjoyed Shine this year. I went last year for Sander, the music was great... the club was driving me insane. Packed and the sound was really crappy at times.

Saw Sasha this year and I enjoyed it so much more. Maybe because it was finally seeing Sasha again, but I found the sound to be pretty good this time. Got the highs and mids much more than last year.

Now... Sasha... chuggy, dark... twist of melodies... just the way I like to see the man. It was certainly worth the wait for my Sasha solo set once again. He was spot on.

Got really tired around 5 and left... to find out afterwards the party went on for two more hours and Lee and Dj Three jumped on the decks with Sasha... Saw Sasha at SSFD the next day and he re-confirmed the triple b2b2b to me and made sure to let me know that the party kicked it up a couple notches after 5...

My super fail of the conference.

Posted by The Highroller on Apr-06-2010 00:32:

This was one of my favourite moments of the whole conference. Seth played this tune at Get Lost and Sunday School:

Posted by barbina on Apr-06-2010 00:44:

when he dropped it at SSFD it was the first time I stood up and danced after lounging for the entire day.

Lee/Sasha/DJ Three b2b
That's something desireable for those who know.
