time to get your stuff together. because if you guys want to be successful it would help with getting the correct info out to your patrons. if people get excited about this event (which is obviously the case) and the event bombs because of organization you wont get repeat customers. i would hate for this event to get messed up and you guys then decide its not worth it to bring in quality talent. we NEED someone in south florida to bring in quality and i commend you guys for actually doing that. i just really hope it keeps up.

also, any confirmation on marco v yet?

a.)The price that was discussed is that there were going to be $20 but last night it wasn't set and we had to check with the person who was bringing the booking in bc they were scared to overprice it.
b.)VIP new to me and I've been there for 2 years. We always sell one ticket and its not listed as GA or VIP
c.)I don't know who did this wanttickets page and I assuming that it was Insomniac Events because there is no way in hell someone from our Office could screw up all the info like that.

The office just opened I'm calling up there now to see what the hell is going on with this info and prices. I'll update soon. Trust me this won't deter from us bringing in quality music. We have a great lineup for the summer.

good to hear. thanks for the quick response. and yea the wanttickets page was done by insomniac. you can see their logo on the wanttickets page.

No problem. I just called the office and let them know of the issues. The person I need to speak with is not in yet, so I'm waiting for a call back. I will know something soon.

Thats who I thought did it. There's a lot of mistakes. I would honestly wait to purchase tickets until I can tell you guys exactly what is going on in detail.

The wanttickets.com page is completely inaccurate. The pricing is incorrect, the age is incorrect and the time is incorrect. The new page is being worked on now to correct the errors.

I HAVE HARD TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR $25, that is the correct price!

AGE IS 21+

The event starts at 11pm and will go to ?????(We have a 24hr liquor license)

If you need tickets call/text me to meet to pick them up.

No idea Insomniac events are the ones that set up the page incorrectly and made a mess out of things. I would contact them directly if you already purchased tickets. Like I said IMO you would much rather have hard tickets for this event. Saturday for Victor Calderone will call line was insane. Hard ticket you walk right in VIP you get a band and can walk in the back VIP area of the club, nothing special but thats how Insomniac is doing it

well personally im not going. i cant stand the fluff that is a&b. im just wondering because im interested in the marco v show and on top of that im sure some of these questions/answers help others out.

so... gryphon isnt doing online ticket sales for this event. only insomniac is. but even if they go back and fix their prices, they would still have to honor the people that bought them at $15. thats their mistake, not the buyers. i understand your point of getting hard tickets and avoiding this possible mess, but if i were to go, id just get there early and make sure i got in. from the way your making it sound, you're gonna have to get there early anyway so why not just buy the cheaper tickets? itd probably be a good idea to pick them up asap as well in case insomniac does fix the price pretty soon. to my knowledge the wanttickets lists at the door dont list what price you bought the tickets at, only customer name (maybe email) and quantity of tickets purchased. hell, ive used a wanttickets glitche before and gotten tickets REALLY cheap and never had an issue at the door. the only way i can see this falling through is if you buy tickets online and then they discontinue the online sales and then no wanttickets person is at the door. but in that case wanttickets will issue a refund.

the real problem right now isnt even the price. its that shitty little thing that says "18+". that you guys are obviously in charge of and i believe you when you say its going to be 21+. but you're going to have some pissed off people if they think its 18+ and they show up and are denied entry.

so in short, if it were me, id buy tickets online. im just curious to know what the vip is all about. do you happen to have any contact info for insomnia events? theres nothing listed on wanttickets.

and thanks again for the response. i really do like that someone from gryphon is posting here because we get to find out wtf is actually happening unlike with so many other promoters/clubs/events. so props for that.

The other wanttickets link has already been taken down. The new link is up there now.

Here was the deal in short:I guess IE does other events in the South Florida area, not sure on that they needed a venue and luckily we had an open date and thought this would be a great booking for the club so we jumped on the opportunity. The only reason they are selling the tickets is because they paid for the booking and are making their money back off the door. I'm sure they will honor the original price, but I'm not exactly sure. That is something they will have to figure out on their end. I actually don't have any info for them and neither does their new wanttickets page, I have never dealt with this group before. They do 18+ parties all over so I guess they just figured it would work the same way but anyone who knows the Hard Rock knows you NEED to be 21+

The new price on wanttickets is $25 plus the taxes and service charges so it will be just under $30. So technically you get them from me and your saving money, time and energy to wait in will call. Either way its up to the guest. I always like to have hard tickets on hand just in case or you get there later and the wanttickets people are gone.

Marco V. is our booking so there won't be any issues. We run a tight ship over here and sucks when things don't happen correctly because it looks bad on us, but what can you do the problem was fixed very quickly and we moved on.

Our VIP is a seperate room behind the floating Grass Wall. That is what the VIP tickets allow access too. By my guess all the tables will be sold out and being back in VIP won't be much of a bonus since you can only see parts of the mainroom and djs. Once again its all up to the guests preference.

Thanks! I hate being stuck in the dark about things, it's happened to me before and it sucks when shit doesn't work out. I'll keep everyone updated on new bookings when I get wind of them but we really do have some great bookings lined up for the rest of the year and their gonna keep coming!!

Also with the hard ticket. Text me when you get there and I will make sure that you are walked right in with no wait

I'm just selling $25 tickets. All the VIP allows you to do is walk in the back VIP area. Its not likely that you will find a place to chill out back there because we are going to sell out all the tables in the entire club. I've already sold 12 tables for this event. I am working on it. I am looking for 1 more couple for this. You said a table is for 6 right? Its about 100 per person....Anyone interested??
