I have a really stupid question. Brace yourself!
I've never brought a camera into a club before, and as some of you know I just bought one with the help and recommendations of many of you (thanks for that!).
Is there a rule of thumb for which clubs allow/don't allow cameras in the bay area? Do -any- clubs deny entry if you have a camera? I don't remember having to empty my pockets upon entry at Ruby, but I want to make sure I don't have to sneak it in.
I just don't want to get into a situation where I have to go get rid of my camera, come back and wait in line again just to get into the club.
Really looking forward to testing this new camera on Blake & Markus!!

Yeah, small compact point and shoot digital, fits nicely in my pocket.

whether you can take a camera in depends on the venue usually. Placs like Ruby and Ten15 would be cool with it 95% of the time...a place like mezzanine, might depend ont he act
since we're on a roll with q&a's thought id ask one too...
do you guys know whether ruby has a bag check or not? just wondering cause i was planning on having a draw string backpack on me since i was planning on spending the 4th in the city...
Ruby only checks jackets. Unless it changed anytime recently, its policy is not to check bags.
oh ok, thanks Dave, i guess ill just be bringing a jacket then...

Sounds like Ruby is still rocking hard and full of people as 4am passes.. SF gets the normal 4+ hours from Markus again. Doing encores now (at 4:20)
And sounds Blake is having a blast going by his twitter!
(yes, I'm a big enough markus nerd [when it comes to him playing with spundae!] to post this useless info on here, hehe)
