God hungry, God must feed!
I think it all comes down to the "free agency" that we have. Freedom to choose, and basically make our own decisions. There are consequences to every decision we make.
Life itself comes with trials, trials that to my thinking God will not intervene. I'm sure God is attached to laws, I think that if he were to break those laws he would cease to be God? A bit deep I assume :/, but then again, that's the purpose of life, without Sadness in it, it would be hard to appreciate joy my .02 cents.
All i know is that it is not reasonable to believe in something without evidence. It is debatable whether it is good for some, but it is not sensible because sense implicates rational thinking.
So are invisible pink unicorns if you look hard enough.

"god" as some call it is all around you, you just need to look at it differently. |
Just close this thread...

I don't know if God exists, but to me it seems more probable that (s)he/it doesn't exist. However, if legit science proved me wrong, the first thing I would do would be to find out a way to assassinate that bloody bastard.
Yes, I hate religion and God, thank you for asking. I see nothing morally good come out of those two concepts. It seems like life on Earth is some sort of reversed Hollywood-movie, where the bad guys almost always win. If this universe was ruled by an omnipotent being, then (s)he/it would be responsible for all this shit and thus be considered, *gasp*, EVIL?!
Also, if you want an imaginary friend, come up with your own instead of blindly following someone else's concept of imaginary friend. It's perfectly okay for a grown-up to have an imaginary friend, but some things can be said about this person if he/she didn't come up with his/her friend on his/her own.
