The last 45min of the EM are amazing, the first part of it, meh.

Do your self a favour though, listen it this set on BIG speakers. Shitty little speakers do not do it justice.

Finally gave a proper listen to the Essential Mix, and wow was that ever good. He needs to make a trip back to Guv soon (and hopefully the sound will be better than the last time he came in Sep 2008).

The best track in the set is definitely:

Seeing Digweed @ Fabric was one of the travel goals I wanted to accomplish the most, and now that the club looks like it could close at any time, I'm very glad that I decided to make that rip back in December of 2008.

Song that had be going the most was Loco Dice - Definition (Nic Fanciulli Remix) ... vocals and that fucking creepy/eerie breakdown makes my brain all tingly and numb LOL

That's also a crazy track. I'd love to hear that track at the right moment during a Marco Carola set.

track at 45ish is "Flavio Diaz -Juane"... on Drumcode... I took a listen on Juno @ the EP and the other song "vert" is pretty sweet too....

I probably listen to Digweed more than anyone else these days. Never ceases to amaze me.

IMO he went next level back in 2006. His Pawn Shop mix from WMC was insane. That's the year he started moving towards more techno IMO, and had that subtle hand clap hi-hat sound in the background at all times. Up until then, he was transitioning away from his more dark proggy, sometimes tribal sound. 2006 was the year of the new Digweed.

I thought that was okay. Same with his positive education mix. It was more of just a mix in the background. Nothing stood out to me that much.

I like his live mixes more. His creamfields and his EM glastonbury mixes from years ago are on the top of my list. Not to mention his space of sound madrid from 2007 I believe is KING.
