the line work is superb, good shading as well, i've seen cleaner blends with a 3pin but single needle always means longer time and more exact lines. I like single pin work for small stuff like the scales but often they overbleed when you use color to fill and it washes out the linework.

Are you guys insane? Of course I own a fucking pair of turntables, I still buy vinyl you rejects

I've been djing for 11 years now, this month actually marks the 11th anniversary

The buttons just solidify the love and affection I have for my lifestyle. This is pretty much do or die for me right now, I'm 26 (old in DJ years mind you) and I've got to start to hustle if I want to make something of myself. I'd say I'm doing pretty well

Or to put it another way, your pimp branded you and then you switched pimps and got another brand, and so forth.

You've got more stamps on you than a bulky, inconveniently shaped, heavy package.

But yes, you are personalised now.

Spot on, as always.

ah yes...the tramp stamp!

I'm nay for tattoos. I can see why people are into it, but definitely not for me and I prefer women without them.

i only really agree with meaningful tattoos. i would like to get one, but only if something really stands out to me as something i could deal with and have good reason to permanently ink onto myself.

Posted by EarnYourKeep on May-24-2010 19:15:

jenny,

you can always add onto small pieces and some times full sleeves comprised of small pieces actually tend to look better and are more thought out then one large piece like mines. hindsight, I wish I could have added in a lotus somewhere in my sleeve, i do have a spot on the inside bicep close to my arm pit and we all know that's gonna be like death but it's in heavy consideration and some much needed color to my sleeve me thinks.

Posted by Silky Johnson on May-24-2010 19:23:

Oh yeah I know...I just mean that when I got the small pieces I wish I had thought of them in terms of adding/growth instead of stand alones. I had stuff added onto my Soul two years ago, and about a month ago I got pretty much half my back done with dogwoods (which still aren't finished). My goal is to finish the dogwoods and add in some chrysanthemums and roses. Dogwoods and chrysanthemums because they are November flowers (I was born in Nov.). Also, I was born in B.C., and the provincial flower is dogwood. Roses, well that's just to bring some cohesion to my heart+soul, which also has a rose.

My bf hates tattoos, lol. He was pissed when I came home with the dogwoods.

Posted by Sand Leaper on May-24-2010 19:26:

I like them, although I can't picture anything important enough to dedicate a permanent spot on my body to it for the rest of my life (unless I have a child, maybe).

Purrty. That said, a) I can imagine it will not end well for this girl if a Yakuza would happen to see the tattoo, b) it's gonna look terrible when she gets older and c) it must've hurt like hell.

The back is actually one of the least painful places to get a tattoo because of the way nerve endings are distributed there.

Posted by EarnYourKeep on May-24-2010 19:34:

do you have a recent picture of your back?

True, I can think of more painful places to get one, but a tattoo that size still must've hurt like hell.

I love it when you see utter scummers with shit tattoos they got when they were like 15 walking around thinking they are baller for it, all the while looking like a ****.

Classic.

I guess. Depends on the person and their pain threshold. Honestly, I find anything longer than half an hour and it's just a dull numbness. I personally can't really describe the process of getting a tattoo painful. I fell asleep when I was getting my back done, lol.

Yeah, endorphins kick in at some point for everyone getting a tattoo. I just think that with a tattoo demanding several hours of work like that one, there's only so much they can do.

I second this

When I got my back/neck done I fell asleep as well, drooling even.

There's something about getting inked that makes you go back, some classify it as pain, but to me, once that needle broke skin i was addicted

Posted by bas on May-24-2010 19:49:

It felt like a cat scratch but for a much longer duration. Eventually the actual pain wears off and you just feel this kind of heat & vibration from the needle. It's more annoying than painful

Posted by enydo on May-24-2010 20:39:

That's really cool Bas, I dig it. And shit, 26 is old in DJ years? I wish I would have started before I was 21 .

Haha yeah I saw a right scrubber riding his knackered push bike through a shit part of town in his England shorts, top off. Crap sporty style sunglasses, with his masterpieces of faded shitty green and red budget tattoos all over him.

The icing on the cake was his horrifically sunburn face and bald head shining like a beacon atop of his pasty, flabby torso. Christ what a bastard.

A tramps weeping cock has more pulling power than that dude.
