i had a great time but i just felt that they tried him towards the end it seemed like they just kept turning the gain down on him and he didn't play till close like the set time said i don't know if that was his decision or what but it was just a wild party regardless!

I showed up there around 5'ish and no line at all <3. Around 9'ish the volume was turned down do to noise complaint. Since then the vibe completely changes and got mellow.

I felt the same way, stupid noise compliance.

they did try him with making him get off at 1030.. not even armin wanted to get off then. david lewis was there, he looked upset and those fucking idiots kept spraying everyone every 5 seconds and that weirdo guy kept dancing in front of armin, the sparklers are a fire hazard and i hate that guy.

i still had fun but the crowd was dead because everyone was tired from partying all day which is acceptable. what not is acceptable is how the sound system just stopped working correctly for armins set

he played sanctuary though i requested that, wohoo.

So true!! Thanks Miami bch. Armin was pissed And so was all the other people. He did play some nice stuff also the breeze came in here and there . looked like woodstock and some people went off the deep end Cheeseburger was nice! Sorry your last hr? got screwed Armin. Your still one of the best in my book.

Contrary to published reports you did not have to show up before 2 if you wanted to get in. In fact the later you got there the faster you got in, and without waiting at all

I basically pounded drinks during my 1st hour there (7 - 8) getting ready for AVB. So I will only review AVB's set. I liked his set, which was a fun trance set, and diverse with everything from vocals to harder trance. I especially liked how he dropped some techy, high energy trance & harder basslines early on. He clearly was playing to the taste of the Miami crowd, then playing the hits and lighter stuff later. I thought we were headed for a massive set. But when they dropped the volume by about 50% (think @ 9:20 as I checked my watch) it was hard to keep building on the energy he had established. Not entirely AVB's fault, as he played good overall. Yet the drop in volume hurt. IMO afterwards he was never able to reach the point of critical mass or fever pitch that I think all trance sets need. Like Roweazie stated above, it got kinda mellow afterwards ...

Armin was too sick! He completely blew everyone else away at that party! The wait was worth it, Except for the volume cut, Grrrr!
