I don't know why I think this but I do:

As the evil within this area was awoken by such peaceful people all hell broke loose and the masses were at the terror of evil demons as they did not want to have the fallen innocent spirits rise up again to escape their clutches and to be free.

I just think some how the masses were influenced by the unhallowed ground they walked upon because the initial meaning of love parade is to bring love. This causes a rift in the dimensional spirit and physical world; what came next is a manifestation of prior events of the past demons/spirits that lived there through the physical world. . .

Hindsight:
They should of kept this in Berlin and not of moved/relocated.

I just read that 1.4 Million people turned up to this event ? and the maximum it is allowed to hold by law is 250,000 and they only had 150 security at the main entrance and most of the tunnels for crowd control didnt meet the local regulations under german law ? what a complete disgrace the event planners are going to get dropped on there heads for not sorting this one out. Im suprised the deaths are in double digits this could of easily been triple number fatalities.
