I'm still maintaining a point as to why a growth in dance music would benefit people, though. Your reasoning, followed through, seems to suggest it doesn't matter what happens to dance music in America because club culture is ultimately facile and soulless.

Ugh...it's already happening. US pop is going to turn into Deadmau5 pop which is good for my ears, but bad because these idiots are only going to like the music because radio stations play it and say "new music feat Rhianna Eminem Puff Daddy Ga Ga" when Deadmau5 produced it all.

What I meant was that Eminem's generation happened 10 years ago. Those were the days where every single word he said, people listened to, and emulated what he was talking about. The problem is that nobody realizes that 95% of all the music nominated is electronic music. Well, except the VMA's. This is the only kind of differentiation they make...

Winner...Lady Gaga. Electronic music can't become more popular. Thanks to the pioneers of the 70's, 80's, and early 90's, electronic music is probably the most popular music on the planet. Just not the electronic music you like.

But why is he angsty? He has millions of dollars and has become one of the most successful rappers of all time. I'm sure he'll go ahead and diss moby any chance he gets these days, seeing as how the electronic music industry is starting to take over (the mindless, bastardized pop version, mind you).

His latest albums have no substance to them, Relapse and Recovery are both piles of shit and are tough to listen to all the way through. I remember being able to recite the Marshall Mathers LP word for word from start to finish.
