don't worry.
klingons escaping from uranus to write a screenplay on dead mice and the current state of dance music is more likely.

Phil Kessel is gonna be in the top scorers this year. Should have taken him in my pool god damned
Toronto won't continue like that for long...
first game of the year for me....they better show up or you will see me on hockey night in canada running naked on the ice drunk off of my tits trying to kiss kovalev.
so glad carey gets the start tonight...i was worried that i would be subjected to seeing the big n bald alex auld.

One pair of tickets for sale for tonight's game vs NJ. Asking 160$ (FACE VALUE). Section 303 row CC (white center).
**SOLD
you don't see face value deals too often.
tonight should be the first time in a while that we are considered favourites against the devils. I hope that they show up to play.

GO HABS GO!!
weird how I missed hockey since last Saturday!!
GO HABS GO
let's hope this game is a little more interesting and entertaining than 100% of devils games since scott stevens retired
the devils turned boring possession "counter strike" hockey into an art form.

Fuck me!
typical Brodeur in MTL.....CALISSE...!
I can't believe I paid to see such a lame game.
Alfie scored a hat trick yesterday...let's hope that they'll be nicer to us and that we're going to score maybe a goal or two..
overall, im pretty pleased with the habs so far this season
Good:
-kostitsyn is another man. Absolutely on fire. 2-3 1 star so far, 5 goals.
-Excellent speed (Subban, Eller, Gomez)
-Price performing well
Bad:
-Powerplay sucks
-Gomez doing squat
Ugly:
-Powerplay fucking sucks
Great game. Awesome 3rd period. Everyone looked good tonight!

Were # 1 in east
...but for how long
don't jinx it, that kind of comment is more suitable from a leafs fan
i'm kind of amazed at our record so far, as we haven't really played that well. The defensive system is working though, and playing in a "collapse" scheme means carey usually only needs to make the first save...which he has been doing.
the best pk in the league offsets to a certain point having one of the worst pp's. markov will improve this, but the habs need to stop looking for the pretty play and get point shots to the net with bodies in front. The best pp chances last night all happened this way.
i don't get why darche keeps playing but boyd has spent 3 games eating hot dogs in the pressbox. i get that boyd took a really dumb penalty, but he has more upside in the lineup than darche has.
gotta love AK playing for the money...if it keeps up every team will offer him 1 year contracts so he can always play like he was in a contract year.
Leave gomez alone for now. In his best career season he had 83 points, but in the first 15 games of that year he had 8 points and was -8. Martin needs to stop putting moen and pyatt on that line. Keep pouliot on the line, and it will pay off once in awhile vs juggling lines. Other than Gionta...Gomez and Pouliot have always been streaky players that disapear for long periods of time...i don't see how anyone can expect this to change.
edit:
LOL

I haven't verified this info yet but someone on HFboards noted that last year, Gomez got 42 points in the 45 games that Markov played. Interesting stat imo. Making it look like Gomer is milking off Markov's perfect passes when he's playing. Let's wait a bit. It took Gomez 10 games to do anything last season. |
