The current X-Men to be honest, it is far superior then the previous movies.

I totally agree with you. I have my doubts about this new one but people seem to like it, so I'll give it a shot. X-men was always one of my fave cartoons.
I wish they'd make another old school TMNT movie. To make up for that shitty "turtles in time bull shit"

Thanks for sharing this. Never heard of it. It looks really good, and seems it will send out a powerful message.
Another movie I want to see:
Martha Marcy May Marlene.
It's about a girl who was in a cult, and has gotten out, but is having a hard time adjusting.
Older movie, I watched today...Martin Scorsese's remake of Cape Fear. I've been meaning to watch this for a long time, and am glad I finally sat down to watch it today. The acting is phenomenal.

watched a free preview of Super 8 last night - a solid movie. All the kids acting was great, well-written dialogue, I liked the suspence of not seeing the creature until much later on in the movie

was reading an interview about this the other day, he says he learned the suspence part from steven spielberg (who i think is apart of the movie as well) from when he did jaws and jurassic park
jj abrams last movie cloverfield was great, and you didnt see the monster till the very end before that was just 2 or 3 second quick clips
i think i will check this movie out

The ad campaign was way more fun than the movie itself.

sorry i dont speak canadian
any who, i though the concept with the first person point of view was good i will admit some of the acting sucked
but the storyline and special effects etc etc were all entertaining
to each is own i guess

Cloverfield was alright. I liked that you didn't see the monster really, and I liked the idea behind the handycam so that you only see bits and pieces. I can't take handycam for an hour and a half though. It makes me want to puke.
It'll be interesting to see what they do with the second one.

+1
I have really hated the transformer movies. I can't stand the way they make the transformers look and the story lines have been crap.
