Yeah I didn't see a single fight all night long. The attitude at a bills game is a million times worse. I was amazed at how well everything was run. Great night all around. It is sad that GSP is at a point where he defeats some guy who hasn't lost in over 6 years, who has only been stopped ONCE 11 years ago and we find fault in his performance.

| Originally posted by Sly_Guy dude, he's cleaned out his weight class. People are going to continue to ask 'how good is he?' until he steps up and tries to hold multiple belts. It's how it's worked in boxing all along, MMA is no different. |

Ya, Nick Diaz will be next.
To bad GSP will lay and pray this one, no way he can stand with Nick. Nick has greats jitz, hopefully they will bring in Sonnen again for the camp to practice his TDD.
Yes I heard Nick was considering getting into boxing...
I'd love this fight just to see GSP do some grappling again...
I just hope Diaz gets thrown around like his bro did on Saturday. Lol

Im not going to disagree with you there but he's a champion in Strikeforce and in the same weight class...
Who else are they going to put with him??
all i have to say is that Toronto has the worst sports crowd of all time. All of those people and no one knew how to cheer or put ambiance in the place. Its part of the show guys, don't sit on your hands...had this been in montreal you would all be deaf this week.
Other than the so so fights and the horrible crowd, they pulled off the big show quite well and everything that was in their power went smoothly. If it comes back to TO you can bet on the ACC i think.

GSP would walk through him no problem. The only reason they make it is because people bought into they hype of a C fighter beating up on a bunch of other C- fighters. |

I tried standing and cheering from my 10th row octagon side seat (don't ask lol) and was promptly told by security to sit down. The whole area WANTED to go apeshit, but simply couldn't due to the ridiculous restrictions of staying in your seats.
It wasn't the fans - it was the venue. Next one will be at the ACC - and hopefully with an Aldo / Hominic rematch - which will be every bit as loud as MTL w/ GSP.

| Originally posted by Orko The crowd sounded dead when GSP came in, I was quite shocked. During his last Montreal entrance, you could feel the crowd. The anticipation, the support was amazing...in Montreal. I was really disappointed by the fans in Toronto during that moment. Maybe it was the acoustics? Probably not. |
) the place was bananas. I guess no steel chair = no cheering?
