My girlfriend told me once after I had smoked salvia it sounded like I had made up a completely different language and was speaking it quite fluently. Maybe she took a big toke of salvia right before the shot to ease the nerves

I want to see her debate a serious topic with this guy,

The only thing he can say without any hesitation is "yes sir." I wonder where that came from

Um, wow. I love the internet world so much. You guys should definitely be a fan of me on facebook. The c0r's bluntness is what keeps me going at the end of the day.

You're welcome.

I have to get CBS or Serene's permission to use her vocals though. But I know I'm debating just putting up an instrumental full length. *shrug* I'm sure it'll sell at least 100 copies.

You're talking about 5-6 figures. That's not worth the hassle?

Posted by nekholm on Feb-20-2011 07:07:

Over half a million views now, congrats Jake!

I've been emailing every CBS email I could find and will call all the numbers that I've found up on Tuesday (after Presidents Day weekend). I should have acted sooner but I have no idea the video would go THIS VIRAL. Also spoke with my manager and we could actually get the instrumental up on iTunes within a week. It won't yield much sales but I'm sure a handful of people will buy it and then can loop something over it. I'll probably provide the A Cappella for free on YouTube.

HALF A MIL BABY!

Don't sell the instrumental. Someone else will re-do the vocals and upload it for free.

Posted by chlola on Feb-20-2011 23:16:

I think you should work a little of the tune "We No Speak Americano" into your remix.

Well if I sell nothing then I make nothing. I can't sell the full-length because CBS won't respond to me. At least I can make a few bucks selling the instrumental. I'll put up the full version with vocals for people to DL free. At least I'm promoting my name.

This is your chance.

I suggest exploring more avenues.

I heard a radio thing on this and I had no idea what they were talking about at the time because I didn't watch the grammy show. However, the neurologist they interviewed said that it was a severe migraine which is capable of causing this reaction. The intense pain and nausea most people associate with migraines is only one type of migraine and there are actually a lot of other things that can happen to people. A very common symptom is acting like a fucking idiot and loss of motor control...I may be paraphrasing, but supposedly this happens without any warning most of the time, and can be dangerous if you're driving. But, it even sounds like a stroke because the people lucky enough to have some warning that they are about to go stupid usually know that it is about to happen because part of their body will start to go numb.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Feb-22-2011 18:06:

Yeah I dunno. I've seen people have strokes and worked on a stroke rehab unit. Usually they aren't as, uhhh tidy? as what happened to this chick. By tidy I just mean how she ended off talking cleanly with a smile, as if she didn't think anything of what just happened. Like, if a person is having a stroke they slur a lot more and are visibly confused/stressed out by it, and display visible anxiety over it, aren't very responsive, etc. Furthermore there is almost always some kind of noticeable one sided weakness - there's no way she'd still be standing like she was. Or maybe I haven't seen enough strokes.

Posted by WittyHandle on Feb-22-2011 18:10:

She said the best estimate of what happened so far was a severe migraine.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Feb-22-2011 18:13:

Yeah I read what gmilf said. Just reiterating that it didn't look like a stroke.

Posted by srussell0018 on Feb-22-2011 18:20:

I think the teleprompter guy was just fucking with her, and wrote, verbatim, how Jake interpreted what she said.

The first time I ever had a migraine, I thought I was suffering sun-stroke. The right side of my upper body went numb and a large blind spot in the center of my vision made it impossible to see clearly.

Posted by EddieZilker on Feb-24-2011 01:10:

Ouch, dude. Sorry, about that.
