I highly suggest all you guys meet up in the parking lot before hand, and watch each others backs during the party. Viva is nothing but bad news. Friends of mine have had knives pulled on them and shit... a few were punked off. Those little asianthugshits understand the power of numbers.

Just the caveat: Watch each other carefully.

If someone needs to go to the washroom, take a buddy.

what ?? last time i was there it was fine unless itz gotten seriously worse in a short time. and after that killing a few months ago i'm sure they would have stepped up security or had to face more police pressure. honestly tho, no one is gonna do anything unless u start something, itz pretty much the same at any club. but i suppose in this case there are a lotta hotheads there juss mind ur own business and u'll be fine. a lotta those guys are too dosed on E to even aim at u so .. :]

Last time I was there nothing of the like happened. There must have been about 6 non asian ppl there (includin me) out of the whole club. I was always thinking that someone was staring at me, thinking "What the hell is this guy doing here?" But in actuality, noone even looked at me, noone even bumped into me, and when they did an apoligy always followed. Now, Rev. Paroxyzm, unless you're speaking from experience I think you're too prejudiced towards the atmosphere in that club due to the recent events. Going to the washroom with a buddy is always a good idea, in ANY club.

You seem to have a pattern of slamming any posts regarding VIVA (like in this thread).

We already know your point of view - don't go stretching the truth just because of one incident that happened there over 6 months ago.. Lots of incidents involving Guvernment or other clubs have happened over the years, don't just stereotype things because a certain ethnic group frequents one location and you assume they're all thugs, give it up. I've been there quite a few times and never had a problem, and I'm nowhere near asian...

It is only one floor man, i am pretty sure of that. Everyone that goes should wear something that shows you are a TA, no idea what, an elastic around your wrist or something.

anywhere else on the dancefloor is hard to meet .. unless ur in the elevated VIP but i realize that not all the TA's goin are 19+.

apart from that itz not very hard to find ppl in that club since itz not packed to sardines like Guv ! yes, i was able to dance last time without blue feet ! :P

I will definitively be attending this party! I saw Gielen last time he was here in Limelight, and I loved his set. I believe that Gielen is one of the most underrated DJs out there. I've never been to Viva, but I'm sure that its better then Limelight, either way I'm there for the music, contextual setting is only secondary. See you guys there. As usual, my fellow TA's and friends, Sarcoman, Cloud9, Bliss'n'Trance, will be there with me.

P.S DieTcocaine, if you are back in TO, I hope to see you there man, if not this week then for sure you have to make your presence know at Summer's End at the Guv. next week.
