PVD isn't the only one bullying Tiesto.

Listen to 2:47 in the clip.

Does she really say

"People will respect your decision that's for sure because your cds really really suck!"?

Wow, she really did say that. And does he always come across as being that awkward in interviews? Or is it that English is not his first language?

Disagree. Although Knowledge has that hip-hop vocals, it's more of undeground or experimental song rather than a hip-hop radio friendly track.

wow interesting interview...he is so anti-progressive. Funny thats basically what he converted to in '05

what a dick.

PS

It's for albums, he is so modest on the stage though. In my opinion, he is an ideal representative of public figure out there. Modest, concentrated on music and involved in social activities.

geez you guys are bashing on pvd because he mentioned tiesto is wack ...
but hes right tiesto is SUPER commercial and has completely turned his back on electronic music ,he has to go main stream radio to make tracks.. btw the IDIOT that interviewed pvd should educate himself more on electronic music PVD nor tiesto are trance , and that track that tiesto came out with is NOT trance .. pvd fkin owned his ass and corrected him ... what a moronic question ..

pvds knowledge track has more of a break beat element ... and is not commercial ..

the point is that he stays true to electronic music.. and his track are hard and raw NOT cheesey and commercial.

With the greatest of respect for my colleagues, Tiestos track Cmon (Catch em by Surprise) is not really a trance record its radio-friendly hip-hop with a dude rapping over the top of it and is not really suitable for playing in a club. I dont make a difference between trance, tech-trance and house, etc.; for me its all electronic music and some of its good and some of its not so good for my taste. I dont agree with this merging of R&B and hip-hop with electronic music, because our music has never been about bling and showing off. One of the topics at a Winter Music Conference lecture I was at just now was about how we go about handling cheesy pop overkill in electronic music sounds. But in four or five months time, dance music wont be commercially cool anymore and guitar bands will be back. Its always the same cycle.

Uhhh, has anyone listened to Paul van Dyk - Knowledge?

Where's the interview? I don't see any link.
