Lira, I recognize that the beverages you posted were frappucinos, but I'll say this anyway:
You strike me as the type of guy that brews his own coffee, maybe even grows the beans...
Racist
hahaha no! Not because he's Brazilian- because he strikes me as the 'quirky intellectual' type who probably does some totally unnecessary things (like growing his own coffee beans) because they make him happy. (
Starbucks has shit coffee, and they don't even provide free WiFi access anymore.
There is no vibe either.

Yeah, as far as I know they still have free wifi.
Only for Macs, OBVIOUSLY.
Other laptops just aren't hip enough, mannnnn

LDNN: I'm more of a social nerd. Though I'd definitely be happy to learn more about coffee grains, and I appreciate randomness more than anything in this life, I'm not sure I'd ever get a hobby that doesn't require the presence of other people (or of other people's ideas). That's why I used to go to the gym every single day as a hobby and, before that, I joined a breakdancing group

| Originally posted by Moral Hazard I meant the coffees grown in Brazil. I've tried three of the four varieties you guys grow; Burbon Santos, typica, and Caturra. None of them are very good for anyone that likes flavour. I mean, if you want a really smooth and weak coffee then the Burbon Santos is alright but I like more complex and flavourful coffee. I'd say the burbons are good if you don't actually like coffee but want to start drinking it. The typica and Caturra are just unadultarated crap IMO. I'm sure it's mostly due to the low altitude you folks grow at... the beans just don't get hard enough to withstand proper roasting without giving up all their flavour. |
You used to go to the gym daily !!?? I would've never guessed it.
Whoah.
I'm kind of the opposite in that most of my hobbies are more personal.

Home-brewing (though I haven't in about a year) - I would brew by myself and then eventually share the final product with friends.
Craft Beer - I love trying new beers at home, alone. If I fall in love with something, or pick up something really rare/special I'll likely invite friends over to share it so I suppose I'm social in that regard.
Chess - but none of my friends play, so I either play online or just do puzzles at home.
Reading
Movies - generally just at home, alone.
Tennis - really just a 1 on 1 thing, though.
Going to the park/things like that - which i do alone, most often.
The point is (i think) that I couldn't ever see myself getting involved in something like break-dancing. I'm too self-conscious
While I've started working out at home, I never go to the gym for that very reason.
I guess the free WiFi is still around for US based stores.
Here in Australia they don't provide it for free. Have to sign up to a plan offered by some ISP.
Another reason why Australia sucks. Hard to find free WiFi access in public places.

I'm not a connoisseur or anything... all I know is that I never make my own coffee (I drink it socially) and add milk because I like it cold (not common around here). So I really don't know what coffee I'm drinking |
