Still, even though The Wire is one of my favorite shows of all time, it sure did take its sweet ass time connecting the dots at times. And if you feel that way about the first 3 seasons of BB, you're going to be pretty unhappy with s4 |

STU - this thread is about a TV show, Breaking Bad. New episodes air every Sunday night (in the states, at least). If you don't watch the show you're (mildly) out of your element here.
To explain that quote - A fast food chain, Pollos Hermanos, is used as a front for the distribution of methamphetamine throughout the American Southwest. The shows lead, Walt, cooks for Gus, an owner/manager of quite a few Pollos restaurants who is basically teh big boss man. At the end of last season, Walt's assistant cook was killed (let's not get into why). The police secured the crime scene before Gus could have his men clean sweep it, and they turned up a notebook he kept, 'Lab Notes'. Walt's brother-in-law, a DA agent, was reviewing evidence and noticed a bag from Pollos Hermanos at the assistant cook's house and realized that a hardcore-organic type guy wouldn't be eating fried chicken.
ONE STEP CLOSER
Anyway, w/r/t last nights episode:
1) i really hope walt/skylar don't get back together.
2) fuckin' hilarious to see walt suggest "no i think you're wrong. your cook is still out there" but it also brought him to a whole new level of crazy
3) jesse is best

Weird, I listen to the Breaking Bad Insider podcast (which features Vince Gillian), and don't remember them saying anything about a plan to stick to five seasons. They said they have very little planning overall. I'm not doubting anyone here, just surprised I hadn't heard of it before. I'm sad to hear its end isn't so far away, but I guess it's better than dragging it out.
I'd never heard anything about '5 seasons' either up until now. The show had been getting a lot of press leading up to this season and in various interviews (a newsweek feature and multiple nymag features) I read that they knew it would have to end within the next 2 or 3 seasons to be realistic.
These days, i wonder how a great show gets cut off short, while Jersey Shore...
I don't even want to explain.
PS I saw it in a magazine: Jersey Shore may be going metrosexual. Seems like the douche bag style is out.
Daaaaaaayumn, Hank's good.

I think the guy who makes the meth is gonna die.
Damn, halfway through this most recent episode. Gus is a hardcore mother******.
I just started watching this show because it's on instant Netflix now, and I'm hooked!
